- Refillable Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation Compact

This is a great little compact. It’s perfect for my purse. Doesn’t take up any room. It’s great for gifts!!

After trying this brand's eyeshadows and similar system to hold individual shadows, I gave their powder foundation a try using this holder system. I really love it. It feels strudy in my hand, it travels well, and the product it holds is an outstanding value (clean ingredients, vegan, and most importantly WEARS WELL on the skin). It's a little bit of a hassle to have to buy the holder separately from the drop-in product that it's supposed to hold, but it ultimately means far less packaging waste since it's refillable. I'm a fan!

I LOVE Honeybee gardens!! I have heard warnings not to buy them from Amazon, but I haven't heeded them. I haven't had any problems(that I know of) yet. Maybe I am actually rubbing chemicals or other gross ingredients on my face instead of the natural ingredients that this company is known for. My skin is super sensitive and doesn't like those ingredients, though, and I think that it would let me know loud and clear if that was the case. So far, nothing. This is a lifesaver for my skin. I cannot use liquid foundation or I break out like crazy. I love the long lasting coverage this foundation gives. If you use with a light hand and a fluffy brush, it is never cakey. Just one touch up during the day if you are wearing it from morning into evening, otherwise it lasts my whole school day without my skins oils breaking it down too much. Great ingredients, great coverage, great lasting power. My go to foundation every day!

This review is for the empty compact, which is sold separately. I have no idea why the review auto-asked me about color and formula. The compact is fine, and you really need it for when you replace the tins of product, which are only sold as a compact-free tin. But I do really love the Honeybee Gardens powder foundation! I took one star off because $10 for an empty compact that isn't a high-end brand is a stupid price.

I like this compact because after the foundation is used up refills can be ordered. This is a great way to save money since the compact is reusable. I wish the mirror inside was larger but that is not a huge drawback.

This is the only item I like from HoneyBee Gardens and it has nothing to do with makeup that you apply only holds the powder and the powder I found very drying.

Total waste. The pouf applicator is very rough on the skin and the compact itself actually does nothing to protect the replaceable foundation pans. After about a week, the foundation pan cracked and because the compact doesn't have a tight seal, all of my makeup was in crumbles and sifted out of the compact and went all over my makeup bag. Definitely not worth it.

I was able to use this for my Aveeda makeup. I needed to push down on the edges of the makeup tray with tweezers but it did actually fit. I was worried it wouldn’t at first. So far is working well
