right after installing, i started the truck and flames were coming out of the exhaust because performance in that filter. i probably gain 500hp to the wheels, i higly recommend it

One of the few cone filters that is washable, requires no oil, and still filters well above the 99% efficiency level. I can back this up because I do used oil analysis, and my silicon (dirt) levels are as low as ever. The sheer size and low restriction nature of this filter has made it so it has built up very little dirt in its time. I've put 10,000 miles on this, and it still looks brand new.

Good filter. My only gripe is the clamp area is a little slick and can be tricky to clamp just right so it stays on my maf.

Bought this to replace a K&N, primarily because it is a dry filter not needing oil. Can't really tell a difference between the two, but at least I don't have to buy that "re-charge" kit anymore.

I have used these filters for about 4 years now with no problems. You can run them longer (within reason) before cleaning, this in itself will pay for the filter in the long run. I have two which I swap out when one needs cleaning. I have used the ones that have oil but these work just as well with no mess. Any filter system will only add 'power' in the higher rpm range so don't expect any improvement in performance during 'normal' driving.
