No. This is for running home brew software and PS2 backups. There are things you can do to get PS1 games running but compatibility is pretty terrible. It’s easier to use an emulator.

Yes, if you are using a USB stick it is possible to copy memory card saves to the USB using this device, although i havent tried it myself it is possible

Will this work on scph-50003 version of the ps2?

YES. It will work on ALL playsation2's from ANY region and all model numbers. The ONLY one it WONT work on is a small number of slim consoles with model number SCPH-9000XXX and a certain BIOS. Thank you.

How do you update opl on the 8mb card? the latest version appears to be 1.4mb but the remaining space is only 892kb after you delete the old version.

Delete files you don't use/need. I deleted the cheat related things as there are better options available.
