Good stuff for spa cleaning.
Follow the instructions and this stuff cleans all kinds of foulness from your hot tub plumbing. I leave it running in the tub a little longer than recommended maybe for half an hour. Works well. Use every 60 to 90 days. Then drain and clean.

Really cleans the pipes
We have had a hot tub for 15 months. We use it everyday and keep the water in balance all the time and shock the system and clean the filter regularly. I drained it twice over the year (once by a spa service company and once by myself). The water has always looked and tested great. But as time went on, I noticed that the chlorine/bromine cartridges were depleting more quickly, from 4 weeks down to 3. We also noticed that the jets seemed less powerful. I investigated this and most of the blogs pointed to bioslime in the distribution piping. Apparently, the slime will create a disinfectant resistant layer on its surface which prevents the chlorine/bromine from reaching the organisms. As time goes on, it grown thicker, constricting water flow and consuming more chlorine/bromine. On the latest (the third) drain, I decided to use this System Flush first and then drain, clean and refill. WOW!!!!! What a difference, first of all after adding this, the water turned off color and was no longer clear. Now, after restart, the jets are more powerful and the chlorine/bronime cartridge depletion is back to 4 weeks. Even though the tests were perfect and my water looked crystal clear, there was growth in the pipes that I could not see. I will be using this regularly from now on. One lesson I learned was that a bit of dirty water remained in the pipes after I drained the hot tub. On start-up it was blasted back into the hot tub. All is OK, but next time after draining, I will flush the jet lines with a hose and then drain that dirty water out before refilling. The cost is reasonable and well worth it.

Cleaned lines
Our hottub sat empty for 3-4 months in hot humid weather so had lots of mold/mildew in the lines. This worked easy and did a great job of flushing out the lines!
