Striking Viking Beard Oil for Men - 2 Fl Oz, Vanilla

On behalf of my dad who I bought this for as a gift: Used the Striking Viking Beard Oil (Vanilla scent, 60ml) and it’s been really good for daily beard care. Value for money: Good for the price. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts well compared to cheaper oils that you need to use more of. Quality: Feels like a decent quality oil. It applies smoothly and doesn’t feel watered down or overly synthetic. Appearance: Helps the beard look neater and more controlled. It reduces frizz and gives a slightly healthier, more groomed look without making it look shiny or greasy. Softness: Makes a noticeable difference in softness. Beard feels much smoother and less scratchy after applying, especially on longer or thicker growth. Non-greasy: Absorbs well and doesn’t leave an oily residue if you use the right amount. Doesn’t make the beard look wet or heavy. Thickness: Light to medium consistency, so it spreads easily through the beard without feeling too thick or sticky. Overall, a solid beard oil that improves softness and appearance, smells good, and feels light without being greasy.

What can I say, once applied it lasts all day. The smell great and long lasting what more can I say apart from its also good value for money my beard is 8 to 10 inches long and 1 bottle lasts about 3 months.

Conditions the beard well but I really love the vanilla scent, already used a beard balm vanilla from striking viking and got addicted to their aroma.

A lightly fragranced oil, easy to apply and not greasy. A few drops is more than enough for my short beard, and after second application the hairs are noticeably softer and skin less itchy. A bottle is going to last ages, but this is definitely going to be a product I buy again!

The beard oil is of good quality for my beard. It takes well the sent is subtle no to overpowering.

For the price, this is very good value - 60ml as opposed to the 30ml which most beard oils seem to be. The trade-off is that the quality isn't as good as more premium options. It feels a little greasier in the hand, and the fragrance isn't great - it's not terrible, but it's relatively mild and so there's an oily smell that cuts through. The dropper is decent, and it came well packaged - the bottle was sealed in plastic to prevent leaks. Would I buy again? That's a tricky one, but on reflection probably not, for the reasons mentioned above. However, if nothing else was available then I might do. I wouldn't necessarily say this is one to avoid, but just be aware what you are buying into - and if you're used to more premium beard products then be prepared to manage your expectations accordingly (bearing in mind the low price point)

Update 2/21/25: After expressing my dissatisfaction with this beard oil the seller contacted me. They offered a full refund, but I opted for them to send me a replacement bottle of this oil, which they did promptly. At first, even after shaking it several times just like the first bottle, the replacement did not have any scent to it at all. I had my wife smell it, and she could not detect a sandalwood scent either. On another day, I shook the bottle both upright and upside down along with squeezing the dropper into the bottle several times. After that, voila! The sandalwood scent appeared! And it is, indeed, a very nice scent. So, I have to admit I was wrong about the oil having no scent. Evidently, the fragrance precipitates out very easily, and you have to really mix this oil well to reveal the scent. It’s worth the effort, though, as the scent is really very nice. As such, I clearly rate this beard oil 5 stars for its quality, the quality of the seller, and its very affordable price. ************************ I bought this beard oil because I use beard oil to keep my beard soft, I love sandalwood scent, and this brand costs about half as much as other brands. When it arrived today I couldn’t wait to try it out. It comes in a generously sized bottle and well packaged. It does not feel greasy. After applying it, my beard immediately felt softer. My only complaint is this beard oil has literally no scent. None. Very disappointing. Bottom line: this beard oil is not greasy and softens your beard quickly, but it is falsely advertised as scented.
