I keep having the problem of running out of battery and don’t have a cable with me. I can’t stand having a tangled up cable in my pocket or my bag, so I just don’t carry one. I keep telling myself that I will just charge my phone at home and it will be fine all day. It should be, but I always forget. This makes things so easy to be able to have something to charge with without worrying about tangled cables all over the place. It helps me keep my bag clean, and I can slip it in my pocket whenever I don’t wanna carry something around. These pull and retract super easily. I also use the second one in my car because who wants a stupid cable all over the place in your car? This is really cut down on the frustration of making my car look neat. I don’t have to find in fish the wire to hide it in my center console because as soon as I’m done, I just give it a little tug and it retract on its own. I haven’t had to worry about it tangling because it works perfectly every time. It really feels high-quality. I’ve definitely had similar devices in the past where the cable felt to week or I knew that the retraction device was not going to last long. Since this USB-C, it charges nearly everything that I own. And anything that I can’t charge it, that is something that I don’t want to carry around with me anyway. It’s really nice having something that fits in a compact space and makes us so I don’t even have to think about needing to charge my phone every day. I am already ready to charge because there are USB-C ports in my car and pretty much anywhere important that I go like work.

Super useful but breaks easily. After using it for a couple years the cable disconnects unless you hold it in a specific position

My Wife recently got a 2025 Nissan Kicks which she loves BTW! But it did not come with any cords to use for a phone or other devices. These retractable cords fit the bill and she is very happy with them. You don't have cords hanging all over the inside of the car when you are not using them since they are very neatly retracted into the frame and rolled up. They are very easy to use and seem very Durable! The price was great for a 2 pack as well!

Unfortunately on my Samsung A14-5G phone it only provides power for re-charging and DOES NOT support any USB data transfer at all. Many other brands of retractable high wattage USB-C cables transfer data OK on this phone so the problem is specific to this brand of cable. Note other users have complained about data transfer using these cables with their phones and Apple CarPlay. Recommended Alternative: If you can get by with only 60w max power support, the Cable Matters Retractable USB-C Cable (2-pack) is a very reliable cable that works with USB-PD (Power Delivery) on all devices and also has consistent support for USB 480Mbs data transfer. Details: The Product Description states "Data Transfer" as a "Special Feature". The product details states "High Speed Transfer Rate" of 480Mbs (slow USB 2.0 speed). MINLU lists various Samsung phone models but does not specifically list the Samsung Galaxy A14-5G. I did not expect MINLU to explicitly list every USB-C Samsung phone model and so I assumed it should work with the A14-5G, but it does not. Pros: 1) USB 2.0 Data transfer works well for some devices such as the Amazon Fire 10 tablet. 2) I was able to confirm it supports at least ~65w of power delivery to Lenovo ChromeBook. Summary: If you are only looking for a 100w USB-C PD (Power Delivery) cable, then this is a good cable. But if you are looking for a true general purpose USB-C 2.0 data cable that can also safely handle 100w of power, then this is a finicky product that may not work with some devices!

Second time buying a set. I have these throughout my truck in both the front and back. The USB C makes for quick charging and the retractable cable make the presentation nice and neat without having excess cable tangled up everywhere.

I love the idea and they are easy to use. They are a bit bigger than expected but they keep everything nice and clean... very organized. The cables retract smoothly and charge my devices just fine.
