I’ve been using the Osprey Quasar as my everyday backpack for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its overall quality, comfort, and versatility. It strikes a perfect balance between a commuter backpack and a lightweight travel/day pack. Comfort & Fit: The padded shoulder straps and breathable back panel make a huge difference, especially when carrying a laptop and books for long periods. The chest strap helps distribute the weight evenly, and even after several hours of wear, it never feels uncomfortable. Storage & Organization: The main compartment is surprisingly spacious and easily fits my 15” laptop, notebooks, charger, water bottle, and extra layers. The front organization pocket is great for smaller essentials like keys, pens, and headphones. The side mesh pockets hold water bottles securely, even while walking fast. Build Quality: The materials feel premium and durable, exactly what you’d expect from Osprey. The zippers are smooth, the stitching is solid, and the fabric feels tough enough to handle daily use and light travel without any concerns. Design & Versatility: The design is clean and modern, suitable for university, work, travel, or casual use. It doesn’t look overly “outdoor,” yet it still has that reliable Osprey performance DNA. The unisex design also fits different body types very well. Only Minor Drawback: The laptop sleeve is inside the main compartment rather than in a separate quick-access section. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but some people may prefer dedicated laptop access. ✅ Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and well-built backpack for daily commuting, studying, or short trips, the Osprey Quasar is an excellent choice. It delivers premium quality without being bulky or overcomplicated. I would absolutely recommend it and would buy it again without hesitation.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, and although I did find it cheaper elsewhere I still decided to keep it. Fantastic quality, a good colour and incredibly sturdy with so much storage. Its lightweight, the zip is sturdy and the straps are padded making it comfortable to carry. A little on the expensive side but you certainly get what you pay for quality wise. Im sure this backpack will last for years.

Really great bag. Straps are comfortable and it sits well on your back. Great storage compartments. Will be great for my up and coming travels. I got this on offer so it was great value for money. I choose the classic black colour. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Top quality backpack. Lots of organisation and I love how it has 2 main pockets, the front pocket is deep and fits plenty inside. Even when it’s not packed out it keeps its shape making it easy to wear without looking weird. I honestly think it’s bigger than 26L because I can fit everything I use to fit in my 32L backpack with a bit of space left over. Fits my 15 inch laptop with ease. Bottle holders are the best I’ve come across, always you to tighten so it’s a snug fit

Great every day carry, comfortable and reliable backpack. I have the Osprey Nebula and Farpoint for more specific use cases. The Osprey Quasar(26L) is like a smaller version of the Nebula(32L), would be great if the Quasar was 32 ltr (take heed Osprey!). The support harness and straps are way better than my North Face backpacks – just my opinion, I have back pain issues, I can carry 4 litres of bottled water and a litre of milk for about an hour with ease. Highly recommend for every day use, travelling, gym etc. just wish it was 32 litre capacity. Money well spent!

Good quality. A little expensive compared with other similar quality brands.

Materials and zips are all nice and durable. Perfectly sized as a personal item for airlines. I have only two qualms with it - the first is that it doesn't stand up on its own when empty, but this is to be expected for a light backpack. The second is that the tablet sleeve could be a few millimetres bigger - it's a little difficult to put a 12.9inch iPad with a keyboard folio in there when you also have a laptop in the other sleeve, though its definitely doable. Very happy with it overall

This backpack is really great for traveling, commuting, or day hike. The hip belt and frame make it so that weight can be carried on the hips if so desired. It also easily fits my 15.5 inch laptop, which is fantastic as well.
