Cuddl Duds Heavyweight 2 Piece Sets Base Layer Thermal Underwear for Women

I was honestly surprised by how nice this set is for the price. The material is thick, soft, and warm, and it feels much more substantial and higher quality than I expected.For sizing reference, I’m 5’4”, about 120 lbs, and ordered a Small. It fits me perfectly.I can definitely see myself wearing this as a base layer for outdoor sports when I need to stay warm, but it’s also comfortable enough for something as simple as a casual walk on a cold day.I haven’t owned or washed it long enough to comment on whether the material will pill over time, but my first impression of the quality is very good. I’ll update my review if that changes after more wear and washing.Overall, this exceeded my expectations for the price. If warmth is what you’re looking for, I would definitely recommend it.

There was a delay in my order for these. Def worth the wait! I love these. 100%. If you freeze like I do outside while cleaning off the snow on car, then you need these. Must have for extreme cold. They are smooth and thick that kept me warm all over. Washes nice. No piling. No strong oder. They stretch good. Fit well. TTS following size chart. May have paid a little more than others on site, but well well worth the money for me. Must have IF you freeze as I do. I’ve always had no complaints with this brand. A def staple in my winter wardrobe.

I needed a set of affordable heavyweight base layer to help me get through this cold Iowa winter. It’s expensive to heat my century home and I can’t afford to keep the temperatures where I’d like. When I first got these, I was disappointed because they seemed thin and I thought they’d only be good under or over another layer. That thinness is deceiving - these are so pleasantly warm that I’m using them as pajamas and feeling quite toasty. They have a silky outer layer and the inner layer feels like a brushed fleece.Other reviews noted that these seemed oversized. I’m 5’5” 130 lbs and usually wear a medium. I ordered a medium and they fit perfectly. I think if anything they run a bit long which I appreciate because everything in this style feels like a 7/8ths/highwater length recently. They have thumb holes to keep hands warm. I ordered the soft blue and they are lovely. I recommend this brand and this set, and I’ll be getting more in different colors to add to my collection. These are a win for sure!

I bought these for a trip to Alaska. I was never cold and they are so soft. Fits true to size.

I actually ordered this set by mistake and I'm soooo glad I did! I was searching through all the Cuddl Duds and thought I had ordered a fleece set, not the base layer. I have numerous sets in different colors and wanted the purple and I saw the purple available in these and immediately ordered them. I love, love, LOVE all my Cuddl Duds and can never have enough during the cold weather season. I was a little dismayed when I received the package and realized my mistake until I washed the set and actually wore them. They are so warm and buttery soft! I am thrilled with this set. I plan on getting more of these because of the warmth and comfort level. They are lightweight and yet they have substance and the best part is the fit. Usually when I purchase a base layer set the pants are too short. This set goes all the way down to my ankles and they don't ride up. Blissful! I washed them in warm water with a regular load and dried them on low heat and they came out as beautiful as they looked out of the package. I have somewhat long arms and the arm length is perfect as well. These have the thumb holes in the sleeves and they couldn't be more perfect. If you want a high quality base layer set or if you just want something comfortable to sleep or lounge in I HIGHLY recommend these. I sleep in them because they are so breathable, no sweating in these. This set is multi- functional and durable and will keep you warm and cozy. They look really nice too. I got these in the purple and the shade is a nice dark, full bodied purple. This base layer set is the best purchase I have made all winter.

Super comfy, very soft and stretchy. They kept me warm while moving around but I took a star off because I got cold while standing still. I was in 45° windy weather. I mainly got these to keep me warm while I slept on a backpacking trip. I think they did ok but I don’t think I’d buy them again for backpacking purposes. These would be great underneath cloths for a winter evening out. I was worried about the sizing but I followed their size chart and the fit was great.

I wore today in -6 degree weather and I was toasty warm! Much better than the long John’s I bought these to replace!They are thick but not bulky. The material is soft and stretchy but breathable. I wore the set comfortably under fitted jeans and a sweater. I LOVE how the top has thumb holes!I had order two sets, a size small and medium since I am sometimes between sizes, at 5 ft, 125lbs, size 4/5 pants. Sometimes size small tops run tight as I wear a 36DDD bra, so I wasn’t sure if the small would be too tight. I wore the small set today, and it was snug, but not tight. It was just right, and incredibly comfortable. I was outside for about 2 hours and didn’t get cold at all!I was also pleased there was no funny smell, last time I bought a long john set it had a chemical smell when I opened the package. These just smelled as they should, like nothing at all.Great price too. I Bought the Black and Boysenberry Purple.
