I've got a whole new cat! I've been giving the Sentry Calming Chews to my 10-lb aggressive orange cat, Noodles, for a few weeks and his scratching and biting has steadily decreased. He finds them tasty and gobbled them up now after refusing the first few offers. SECRET RECIPE - After trying the chews I decided to give the Sentry Calming Collar a try and so glad I did. He's been wearing the collar a few days and has attacked me only 2 or 3 times since. (compared to many, many times a day!!! ). He's become calm, loving and actually seeks out cuddles! He's 1 yr old and always been unpredictable and cranky. And now he's not! I cannot recommend this combo enough! BTW the quite strong lavender scent of the collar calms down to a lovely whisp of scent after a couple of days.

I got these chews after we missed our cat's spay appointment and she went into heat. She was absolutely miserable, constantly yowling all day and night, going from window to window tripping out, tunching her butt up at any and everything, not eating properly and losing weight, just a poor little mess. She is small for a 12 month old cat, so the first 2 days we gave her 2 treats a day. That did nothing for her. So the 3rd day we gave her 4 treats and by the evening that day she was noticeably better. We kept up the 4 a day dose and WOW, it helped her so much! I can tell she's still in heat a little bit, but she isn't going haywire anymore. We have to wait a few months for another spay appointment, but thanks to these treats, this is a very bearable situation. We give her 4-6 treats a day (1 single pellet is a treat), and it keeps her normal, healthy, still playful and spunky. We did not experience her oversleeping as other reviews have mentioned. She is appropriately active throughout the day and night with a good 2-3 hour full sleep in the midday and catnaps as she is naturally inclined. Effects of missing a day, she went straight into the Horrors of Heat full-blown and it took 3 days of 6 treats to get her back on track 😩😔😄. We don't miss days anymore! I have since learned that female cats don't have a menstrual "cycle" where they release eggs and then if the eggs aren't fertilized after a certain time her body yeets them and the process starts over. No. Cats go into heat and stay that way until mating happens. They can stay in heat for years on end if they never get spayed or mated. What a horrible life for an indoor cat. I'm glad I found this product that calms her and gradually alleviates her heat symptoms so that she can fend off "the call of the wild" until we can get her spayed.

Originally o got these for my cat that hates to be brushed. They take an hour to kick in so I had wandered off distracted by the children and never tried to groom her. I forgot about these treats for a month until we got a big wind storm and my 2 cats were taking the stress is it out on each other. I gave them each their treats and now they are happily sleeping through the storm instead of beating each other. These are a bit on the spendy side for frequent use but I will ABSOLUTELY keep them on had for the occasional storm or possibly the next big family gathering at our place. When I originally bought them I was thinking I would use them like a strong cat nip, once or twice a week. They are more like a very mild sedative for when they are freaking out. A great tool to have in my cupboard. My cats are very picky but found them delicious, ate them without any coaxing from me. Easy enough to use, convenient. I sharpied their doses on the front of the package so I don’t have to calculate it each time. It’s by weight so not a he same for each cat.

So far so good, I used it as a meal topper and my cat likes the taste. Some people said this made their cats more anxious but I have not noticed that. She seems a bit more comfortable and happy but it’s too soon to tell how it affects her in the longer term and with things that normally stress her out. Dosing is a bit weird because they very in size and I don’t think it would be healthy to give her 5-7 of these per day. Might just top her food with them other day or so?

My cat does like the taste of these chews, so getting her to eat them wasn’t an issue. Unfortunately, they didn’t do much to actually help with her stress and anxiety. I originally bought these for a 6 hour flight and tried using them along with FELIWAY Classic Calming Spray. Even with both, my cat was still anxious and cried throughout the trip, so they weren’t very effective for her in that kind of high-stress situation. I think these might be better suited for cats that are already fairly calm or only experience mild stress. For cats with higher anxiety levels or for intense situations like long travel, the dosage may be too low to make a noticeable difference. I would recommend testing these a few days before any stressful event to see how your cat responds. If they don’t seem to help, it may be worth talking to your vet about stronger, prescription options. Now I just give these to her as treats since she enjoys the taste!

My cat gets too excited to eat these. They work, she’s a chill cat already, but we took her camping and these really helped when she would get anxious. Now when she smells them she goes nuts and it’s hard bc she can only have a few she’s young and lightweight

I'm very pleased with this product. I tried one chew on my cat. He was much better. I use it now only occasionally and I have reduced it to 1/2. I had been using the calming collars that had worked for quite awhile. But this product works much better. He won't eat it like a snack I pulverize it with a pistol and mortar and add to wet food. It's hard not chewy like the vitamins I also add to wet food.

My cats enjoyed the taste, however I didn't notice too much on the calming effect they are supposed to give off. According to the instructions you're supposed to give this daily based on weight and I was thinking it was something we could give on occasion to help with high anxiety events such as thunderstorms or travel. As we split it between 3 cats we went through the bag very quickly, not enough for us to see a long term benefit. It might work if you keep at it, but it's not what we were looking for so I wouldn't get it again. I know I already said they enjoyed the taste, but that goes even for our very picky and definitely NOT food motivated one. She turned her nose up as first, we did essentially force feed her the first time like we have to do with her medications but the next time it was put in front of her she really went to town which was a pleasant surprise for her!

おいしいおやつとして猫ちゃんはパクパク食べてくれます。ですがストレスに効いているのか、わからないです。夜鳴きは減ったように思います。完全になくなるというわけではなさそうですが、猫ちゃんがおいしく食べてくれているので私は満足です。
