A lovely meaty soup.
A lovely meaty soup. Rich and warming. Perfect on its own with a crusty bread, or equally great as a base sauce for a warming winter stew. The main ingredient is tomato (18%), followed by beef at 4%. Fat content is negligible at less than 1%. Sugar is quite low at 2.4%, with the only red flag being salt. A can will give you 38% of your recommended daily salt allowance. It does contain wheat, so not gluten free. Overall, this is one of my favourite Heinz's soups. It's thick, meaty goodness is always welcome. I hope you found this review helpful

Christmas Eve Perfection!!
Perfect taste, texture and so easy!! Substituted for my usual original English oxtail soup starter for Christmas Eve supper! Everyone LOVED IT!!

Pretty much tastes like what I rember from Germany in the 60’s. A little heavy on the tomato taste so I cooked some oxtails for meat and added a couple of ounces. I also addes some beef broth. Beats cooking from scratch on a cold winters day. Will buy again. Warning: The Royal Post is exceedingly slow and tracking is not very good.

Way too expensive. Shipping too expensive also. Would buy again...but NOT AT THESE PRICES. I'm not an idiot or fool.
