An all rounder - versatile
Have had this since Dec '25. Very versatile with many useful zipped pockets, external space for a flask. Hoop for a rear light or geological hammer. Loads of capacity. Strong straps, strong hard wearing external shower proof material. A great all rounder which I really recommend. I have a Quasar rucksack too, but the Nebula is better and much more versatile. I can't fault it.

Excellent bag
Haven’t used this that much yet but from what I can see it’s everything the brand reviews suggest. I have a buy cheap buy twice thing and I normally use Berghaus backpacks but this time I went for Osprey as I’ve always wondered what the hype was. WOW! It’s a sturdy, well made, good quality commuter bag. The straps sit well, it’s really comfortable on your back. The compartments are a great size and it has the laptop protection it needs. It’s a fair bit heavier than my other backpacks but this seems to add to the quality, you don’t feel like you’re walking around with a carrier bag on. So for now, yes it’s a great investment and I hope it lasts as long as my other bag did. Oh and it has the whistle on the chest clip, great little addition for hikers.

Quality
Great for holding up to 2 water bottles in the side pockets, the stretchy back is very well designed for putting items in and securing with the snap buckles, I found this very useful. Great for using for laptops or the likes of galaxy tabs, which we use for air travel entertainment. I previously had a bag which met the dimensions for aircraft carry on, but it didn't hold as many items as this, and my water bottles stay in the side pockets. Is it cheap? NO, is it worth the extra money, Yes, it's quality and it's definitely worth the extra money in my opinion.

Good quality & size
Came in time for a 3 day trip away. Just right size for carry on. Filled easily with 6.1kg worth of stuff. Comfy on shoulders. Not keen on the top handle strap as very flat not easy to grip when need to pick up from the top. The top suppression straps gets caught often when zipping up the last tech partition, its ok but annoying at times. Other than that good quality plenty of sections, so far so good.

Reliability You Can See and Feel
I’ve been carrying my Osprey Nebula backpack for more than a year now, and honestly, it still looks almost brand new. The fabric hasn’t frayed, the zippers run smoothly, and the structure feels just as solid as the day I bought it. From my own experience, this backpack has been through daily commutes, weekend trips, and even a few unexpected downpours—and it’s proven to be both durable and robust. I really appreciate how it balances toughness with comfort; the straps and back panel make it easy to wear for long stretches without feeling weighed down. It’s rare to find something that holds up this well over time, but the Nebula has become my reliable everyday companion. If you’re looking for a backpack that can take a beating and still look fresh, this one definitely delivers.

My favourite backpack
The best backpack I have owned. Plenty of storage space for a 4 day trip to Norway in April and was 9Kg total weight (below the 10Kg in flight baggage allowance) therefore no need to wait for hold baggage. Size fully packed was within the in flight baggage size rules. The zips are incredibly strong and the backpack material itself feels extremely robust. The empty rucksack is very light - ideal for air travel. The backpack weighed 9 kg fully packed and was very comfortable to wear (easily adjusted straps and well padded) for a full day sightseeing.

Great quality
I purchased the Osprey courier bag and felt it was good quality, needed a rucksack quickly for more space - bought another brand as was much cheaper tbh - wish I hadn’t - bottle pockets ripped in days, material thin…..but cheap but twice! So after researching Osprey rucksacks as there a few different ranges I decided on this one - yes a bit more pricy but you definitely get what you pay for! This has loads of room, is comfortable to wear for extended periods, can fit my days worth of gym kit, waterproof, laptop, water bottle and more….. love it.

Versatile
Very comfortable and the pockets inside the backpack are well organised. I think that if you were to buy one backpack for everything, this should be the one.
