He and his wife started using it right away. It was the perfect height for their skill level and needs. It comes with 2 risers for each side for a total of 4.The things they loved:-sturdy construction-non slip platform-wide surface area-non-slip base-lightweight-adjustabilityThe only drawback is that the bases don't stay together when being moved from place to place. I saw multiple, more expensive options available but thought I'd give this a try. So far so good. It is sturdy and sufficient for my weight (200 pounds). Some of the reviewers expressed concern about the step flexing. I don't feel unstable, I think the flex (using 2 risers) is an appropriate level of give for higher intensity moves. At this point I am using a single step, but I appreciate the option to add height as I get stronger.I had wondered about the size, the dimensions are smaller than some of the steps on the market, but this size is perfect for step exercises (not for utilizing as a bench to lie on). It is great for my size 10 feet, and I wouldn't want to go larger.
