Parrot Essentials **Q: Is this okay for a parrotlet?** A: Hi my parrot is tiny - a conure so not much bigger than a cockatiel really.. but having health issues suggesting possible fatty liver- mentioning that as you gave to be really careful about the fat content in birds foods - so it dies t say but I would guess it’s ok in small amounts as a treat rather than feed as daily food- would be best to stick with buying a carrot and apple in shop and cutting bits off - more natural - and not overload of fat which in time causes health issues.
