Best floss organizer I’ve ever owned – and I’ve tried a lot. These bobbins are made of thick, sturdy plastic that doesn’t bend or snap when you wind tight (or when the cat uses them as toys). Each one comes with a metal insert so the thread actually stays put instead of exploding the second you set it down. The real game-changer is the sticker pack: pre-printed numbers for every current DMC color (1–999, including the new 01–35), plus a sheet of blank stickers for hand-dyes or future releases. Labels stick firmly and line up perfectly. I organized 400+ skeins in one evening. Now I can grab 310 (black) or 3837 (deep purple) in seconds instead of untangling a rainbow knot for 20 minutes. My projects move faster and I frog way less. If you cross-stitch or do any serious embroidery, this set is worth every penny. Highly recommend.

PRO TIP (Well I'm not a pro, just VERY impatient). The bobbin winder is fine, doesn't attach to the box very well and it's not much faster than hand winding. SOOOO my impatient self thought, "will the bobbin holder end fit in my electric drill bit socket??" IT DOES!!!! Just take the part that holds the bobbin tab itself, secure it into where you'd place a drill bit and go to town! I hold the drill secure on a table top, and give a medium squeeze with one hand. With the other I hold the thread taught and move it side to side as the drill runs. Less than 30 seconds and thread is perfectly wound onto the bobbin tab! The case is also great. I'm going to need to buy another though because I have a whole tote bag full of thread.

) There's an included winder! :( However, it's not well made. The pieces don't fit together well. Unless you have dexterity issues or other reasons why you can't hand wind, it's more of a pain to use than a value. :) The included bobbins are thick and sturdy! :( However, this means they don't fit in the winder very well. (And not at all once you put a sticker on.) :) There are preprinted stickers included! :( However, they're cut just a bit too long, so you either have to cut the ends off or have them peeking over the rounded edge of the bobbin end. The box itself is fine. Smaller than others I've had in the past, but that's on me for not checking the dimensions before buying. Latches seem to stay closed well enough. I wish it was designed so that the bobbins could stand vertically so you could see the sticker easily, but it seems to be designed to only close if the bobbins are laying on their sides. This means the thread color is very visible, but doesn't help when looking for a certain number. All in all, it's fine. You get what you pay for, and this is cheap but functional enough.

They work perfectly. I like the plastic bobins it comes with. For the cheap price, the quality isn't perfect but I think they'll work just fine. They are small (see picture in reference to fine point sharpie). They come with 40 bobins but have enough space for 48 if you don't want to store the reel.

Good storage, but the spinning device is flimsy and difficult to use.

nice and compact. i thought at first it would be a suplicate of what i already own - it is a good travel piece - can be organized for soecific projects.

Good storage case in a pinch. Comes with plenty of thread holders. The tool to help wind the thread onto the plastic piece was a surprise and helpful. The case is average

Great item, it was a little smaller then I thought but it will work. the Bobbin winder works great.

The tool for winding up the thread doesn’t stay in place as well which was the only problem I have when it would fall off but other than that it’s a great storage kit for beginners. There could be more space for thread if you just want it for that like me so I ran out of the winding plates to wind up thread it came with to store as you can see in the picture there is still 6 slots left to fill. You need to trim the numbered stickers as I find them to be a little too big for the winding plate and a sliver of it would be hanging off of it.

Very useful item to store my embroidery threads. It’s a good size and I’ve been able to store a good amount of threads in there. I’ve used it for a while and I have had no issues with the quality. I would purchase again (and probably will due to the amount of threads I have accumulated).

Spoel winder was te smal konden geen geen kaartjes tussen met schuurpapiertje zelf beter gemaakt. Stickers hadden wat smaller gemogen dus knip de randjes af om beter passend te maken. Het zelf indelen is wel heel fijn.
