The quality of the show and his story selections make the program both respectful and fun. It obvious to anyone that Jim truly cares about the weekly product he puts out.His book, Jim Harold's Campfire: True Ghost Stories is no different. Jim has crafted the work to have that podcast feel, but still reminds you that you a reading something special. The stories he has chosen are grouped into categories which allows you read the type of tale you want, when you want it. They are written with care and remain true to original telling. He also credits each story to the original storyteller which I for one appreciate.If you like ghost stories and don't mind not being able to sleep at night, then this is book for you. You will not regret the purchase. Over all the flow of the book is great and is an easy read. I highly recommend this to anyone.Some of the stories are not suitable for young children in my opinion. Parental guidance is suggested.Ronald HoodVancouver, Wa ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another good book *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2013* Another good book from Jim.....love the podcasts, and couldn't wait for this to become available.To the detractors who say that the writing was poor and amateurish, these stories are taken directly from people's phone calls to the show, and he's relaying them directly as they were told. It has no reflection on his writing ability at all.He's telling the stories he got from listeners, exactly as he heard them, and so has no right or intent to correct their grammar or sentence structure. It would akin to copyright infringement to modify the stories without going and getting permission from each and every person who's stories he gave us.I have been a writer for several years for our local newspaper and for some trade publications. If someone related a story to me, it's proper for me to tell it in their exact words and not modify them at all. It's their story, not mine. It's the same for Jim's book.Keep up the good work Jim, looking forward to your further endeavors in print as well.Jim ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this book *by T***O on Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2016* I love this book, it is the first of the series that Jim has put out. They are great stories about his listeners ghost stories that you can also find on his website under his archives for the Campfire Ghost story series. Needless to say, he has also ran my story in his book on his 2nd addition. Great book to have along side your bed, or even bathroom material for quick reads in there, lol. Well the stories re great and Jim really is a fine person to host such a series of great host stories.
