Are this underwear ? Or you suppose to use underwear such as boxers below the shorts?

These are designed to be worn like underwear. Nothing underneath. Designed for sports and the gym, but could be worn as everyday underwear.

No tumble dry? Really? Has anyone dried these in the dryer?

I've dried mine in the drier sever times. Nothing horrible has happened. I've had them for three years and done this. Honestly I didn't know that was a thing.
