This HUB works great!
Using this device for about 2 weeks, I have been used all 7 ports occasionally and none have failed. I have seen no slow down, and no overheating. This device seems to be working well with no issues I really love the USB-A to USB-C Adapter that I never have to look for or lose. I have been getting on average 170+ transfer speeds is awesome! Being able to toggle on and off each USB port individually is big positive and knowing that they are on and off (with the light) is great. This charged my Ipad and Laptop simultaneously (though admittedly, not quite as fast as original power supplies). I love this device is very compact and powerful and looks pretty cool with my setup. 7 USB ports is perfect for my setup. I recommend this device for anyone that needs a quality hub with many ports, super fast speeds, Needs USB-A or USB-C, dependable (RSHTECH devices work, I have a few and none have failed yet), are affordable and look great.

Nice, compact unit with plenty of power
Nice, compact unit. Worked just fine for me on Windows (10), Mac (Ventura) and Linux (Ubuntu). No drivers were needed on any of these O/S's, it was just plug-and-play. I was able to get about 40 MBytes/sec raw disk transfer speed on Linux from an external SATA-USB drive enclosure (also from RSHTECH). This is not bad, but is also not 5Gbits/sec. It is, however, plenty fast for my needs. Note that there are no USB-C ports on this unit. It works great as a 4-port charger base--you do not need to be connected to a computer to use as a charging station. The ports are not USB-C PD (not surprising since they are USB-A). The combo cable is actually pretty convenient if you're moving from one laptop to another. The included power supply seems beefy enough to power all 4 ports at the same time. I had no problems hooking up my phone and 2 other devices for simultaneous charging. The individual power switches could come in handy for a webcam or a task light. A nice feature is that the ports point UP rather that sideways as on most hubs and this makes using USB thumb drives particularly easy.

Meets all my needs
This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well, but still offers great bandwidth. Build Quality: The body of the hub is made of aluminum. It has a nice black powder coating. Scratching the body doesn't seem to leave any marks, and the oils from my hand don't seem to be a problem. It feels to have enough wait to it to keep it from moving around my desk, without being too heavy. There isn't any unnecessary branding other than the company name, with no tacky stickers or colors. Accessories: The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. It's rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The cables have a nice, heavy click into place and don't feel like they want to come back out easily. The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. The USB cable has a large diameter. Without cutting it open, this would imply good insulation between wires and having all the pins needed connected without cutting corners. The Power supply cable looks to be about the same length. Packaging: I personally liked the packaging. It was the perfect size, came with minimal plastic, and could act as a travel box for the hub in your backpack. Interface: Each USB port has its own power button that has a nice blue LED that isn't too bright. The buttons click nicely and are smooth in motion. Speed: I personally think, for the price, the price to speed is very acceptable. In my screenshot, I did get about half the write speeds in Sequence tests, but the write speeds are still high 30 MBs (I tested with a cheaper SanDisk USB Drive). For most applications, it really isn't a problem. For high precision applications and ultra-high speeds, you'd likely need something different, but on the other hand, you'd likely be speeding $100+ for something of this caliper. Unfortunately, I do not have a device fast enough to check thresholds, but I feel confident the hub should be able to achieve the advertised USB 3.0 5Gbps rating. Extra: Even when your computer is off, this hub will still charge your device. This is super nice for charging headphones, cellphones, etc. The color matches the rest of my other devices on my desk. I don't have a USB voltage Amps monitor tool, but you're given 3 amps to share over 7 ports. There aren't too many devices that I can think of that would require high amps to function. I don't see 3 amps not being enough for a majority of users. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, and is something I'll keep on my desk for the foreseeable future. Cons: I personally don't have any. I'm quite happy with it. There are definitely quicker hubs out there, but again, for the cost, it does everything I want and then some. Time will tell if it will last for the next few years, but given they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty, I'd like to believe most companies would only offer extended warranties for free if they thought their producted wouldn't last at least that amount of time. Sure, they could be a fly by night company, but given I have used other products from them and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products.

Fast and Convenient USB Hub
This is a solid, very fast USB hub that boasts USB-C speeds (I transferred a 1GB file in ~10secs) and has the convenience of having a built in usb-C to usb-A cord. It is powerful enough to charge my ipad (albeit slower than a direct ipad charger as you'd expect). Each USB port has it's own switch and LED light; the light blinks when data is being accessed which many may find useful to ensure no data is being transferred when unplugging a device; for me the flashing blue light was obnoxious as I had my mouse and keyboards plugged in so were constantly blinking. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone with need of multiple USB ports. Again, the built in usb-c to usb-a 3.0 is super helpful. (note there is no SD card reader, attached photo is for size comparison).

Great Compact USB 3.0 HUB with great data Transfer speeds
This USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. It's a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. It's rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly. Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products. Cons: I personally don't have any. I'm quite happy with it.

Attractive, small for easy desktop placement; powered
This hub is compact and yet there's enough room for four cords to easily fit, and the hub maintains a flat, small footprint. The buttons are convenient for limiting power consumption by devices which are not being used. The lights are a nice extra to know the button position from a distance. The power source is 10w, but using a bigger power cube such as an Apple 20 W cube gives me enough power for a keyboard, hard drive, an SSD and charging my phone. The connecting cable is long enough for convenient placement and has a choice of USB-A or USB C. The provided power adaptor has a sufficient cord, and is satisfactory for normal devices unless you want fast charging. Since the device has no USB C ports, I tried it with a USB-A to USB C connector and the SSD I connected did not seem to slow down. Another nice feature is that the USB-A ports are on top of the unit making connecting very easy. One improvement would be to have a higher watt power adaptor, but at the price it is a fine hub.

Really Works with High-Capacity Portable Hard Drives!
This USB Hub really works with multiple external 5TB portable hard drives (PHDs)! I tried four Seagate 5TB PHDs at a time. It worked well! I think the main reason might be having a separate power supply for the 7-port USB hub. I have purchased a few USB hubs using laptop's power, but they only work with thumb drives or up to SanDisk 2TB solid state portable hard drives. Those under-powered USB hubs just cannot recognize my 5TB PHD's and cannot display drive contents. The aluminum casing is very sturdy and way much better than plastic casing. The newer, thinner & lighter laptops are being equipped with fewer USB ports, this particular USB hub can make up laptop's deficiency.

Respectable powered USB 3 hub
Great USB 3 hub that does what it says and has a small form factor. My only gripes with it are the size of the plug and the glossiness of the top face. Other than that, it works well for me
