Anova Culinary Sous Vide Precision Cooker Nano 3.0, 800 watts

I find this Nano 3.0 Sous Vide cooker to be easy to work with and it gets the job done! This is my first experience with Sous Vide cooking, and I think the ease of use with this cooker may be key to me enjoying it so much! I love the app, which comes with an easy to use guide as well as recipe suggestions. The fact that I can operate the cooker straight via the app is a very nice feature! And true to the advertisement, it keeps the desired temperature steady and does not overcook. This is great especially with tougher cuts of meats, which come out as tender as can be thanks to this handy little machine! Love it and highly recommend it!

Consistant results. I had a several issues with my Mini and found out that one of my kitchen outlets was not functioning properly. I contacted Customer service agent who helped me resolve the issue. Customer service walked me through a factory reset, and told me how to descale or clean my device (vinegar & water). It's worked perfectly every since.

Works fine as a Sous Vide machine. What I can't stand is that they force you to pay a subscription fee to use the wifi ability that's built into the device. So I paid for a wifi enabled device, but I can't use the wifi unless I pay them monthly! Screw them, I'll never buy another Anova product agaim.

I really like this! You can't overcook, it takes slow-cooking to the next level. I can meal-prep in freezer bags & cook up dinner, without worrying about getting home in time to turn off the crockpot, or taking 30-45 minutes to cook dinner after work. Literally set it & forget it. I can even check on it through the app. *Make sure the water level is high enough in the pan/container. I have only had 1 time that the sous vide shut off during the day. It was because the water level dropped below the minimum level. It is a good safety feature, but I disappointed myself by not having enough water to cook all the way. Well worth the price ( I got this on sale). It's not loud, just a little hum so you know it's on (I could totally nap in the same room if I had a cot in the kitchen). Seems to keep an accurate temperature, and is easy to use.

Yea there are controls, its a touch screen. You dont need the app. You just need to possess the ability to read. I had mine for about two years, it dies as the temp just says 32F now. For the price it did the job. But it sucks it dies so soon.

Lost my last one in a divorce. Immediately bought another! Only way to make a prime rib without the fear of ruining a $100 + dollar piece of meat.
