What a ghastly book. Insulting to Orthodox tradition and cheapening faith by trite and insincere language.Poor ikonography throughout - a total waste of money.

Great Book..

A Brush with God: An Icon Workbook I agree with everything that has been said about this book, and would have given zero stars if this was possible. I was looking for an extra, more modern workbook using the 'traditional' methods of orthodox iconography, but the product review turned out to be misleading and the resulting book has no useful content for traditionalists. In future I will stick with reprints of older well tried publications until I can 'see inside' an interesting looking new book. Definitely don't waste your money.
