Two pack of fun!
These were supposed to be a Christmas present, but we got snow this weekend, so the kids got a present early. These are great. At first, I was disappointed that they weren't more of a hard plastic. However, the more we played with them, I'm glad they're not. Our old plastic sled cracked and broke in the harsh cold of New Hampshire. Because they are mostly foam-ish, I have a feeling they'll take more to break. In fact, it's nice not having the hard edge of a plastic sled to fall onto when going over a snow ramp. That being said there is SOME plastic on the sled - the handles and the grip for the front rope. If I had to guess, I'd wager they'll be the first things to break. :) I think what surprised us the most is how fast they can go. They are curved at the bottom so only the middle makes contact with the ground, which seems to help with speed. And the more weight you throw on, the faster it moves. It says weight capacity up to 200 lbs, but we've gone WAY past that (I'm 190 alone and rode with a 70 lb. kid.). Yes, there is room for two (even two sets of handles for each to hold onto). One thing to note is that when you are sledding on anything but snow, you're going to do some damage. We are sledding down the driveway into the road... the road is plowed, so at the end, the sled was grinding onto bare pavement. Needless to say, like most materials, this one is getting scuffed hard without snow for protection. But again, unless it was metal, I can't imagine anything else being different. :) Lastly, there's a handy rope on the front to pull it along or back up the hill easier. Simple, but effective. Overall, we have two kids in New Hampshire, a large hill for a driveway, this purchase was a no-brainer. For the money, it's one of the best deals you'll find.

Kids opened them for Christmas and one of them broke first day! Didn't realize they are basically just decorated styrofoam and now they don't have sleds. Weren't a cheap gift either! Not happy at all that someone wasted their money on gifting them these
