This is exactly as described. I washed and air dryer to prevent any shrinkage. I bought this specifically for the size—the width of the coverlet is my favorite part. The coverlet states it’s 100% cotton. It feels like a cotton blend but it is very nice. It lays well and looks great. On my king size bed, the coverlet is shy approximately 5” or so from the top of the mattress. I bought it specifically for the width so I’m fine with it being short. The price is much higher than most fine coverlets but I found it acceptable because it covers the sides of my bed beautifully. The scalloped edge is attractive without being prissy. I am very happy with this coverlet and highly recommend.

Un hermoso quilt, pedi el king extra y quedó perfecto!! Fresco y ligero, fabuloso para el verano y lo suficientemente grande para cubrir mi colchón que mide 15 pulgadas de alto, compre uno blanco y quiero también uno ivory, mismo tamaño.

I love this new cover. The oversize King covers the bed nicely considering my bed is quite elevated. -Comes down to the top of the bed skirt.
