Ordered it last year money was tight or I may have considered the much more pricey Barnett or Baker. As with most things of this nature time will tell so any reviews written on day one , if you came back and asked the same person a year later they may review it differently. But this clutch has been performing better than the stock one over a year, every day and hasn't slipped once. The extra plate design that eliminates Harleys stock "grenade ring" that flys apart and releases about 20 rivits in your primary ground into 100's of tiny pieces when it fails. Good thing they're made of brass so not even a magnet will retrieve them . The design will surely be the final nail in Harley Davidsons coffin. My clutch basket was damaged in a few spots from grenade ring rivits so I figured but this cheap plate assembly now to get by. If it becomes an issue buy the more expensive one & replace the basket when times are better financially. But I got to say if this failed me today I'd buy another just like it even with a million dollars in my pocket. Good to clutch, built with quality . Easy install, perfect fit, still performing perfectly over a year later

Getting these on took me forever because I was stuck in ex’s garage after visiting my son 9 hour motorcycle trip. Was stuck in her garage with limited tools. My HD Sportster Clutch decided to give out once I got to my son’s house. Ordered this clutch pack. No HD opened Monday’s and couldn’t find this part anywhere. Received it FAST !! Was the perfect fit for my Harley sportster 2008 1200 XL. Once I got her installed, put everything back together. Filled it with 1 QT mobile 1 v-twin oil. My nine hour trip back home was amazing, smooth as can be. Honestly felt like a new bike with how smooth and responsive my bike felt. Will be switching out the transmission fluid one last time with new seals just to make sure no extra little particles are left over from the previous trip. But so far these clutch packs are great!

You need to look at the splines to make sure it fits your bike. It says it fits on models 3 years mentioned but it does not fit the fat boy. And if you do not plan to use it right away and find out the description was incorrect they will not allow return
