Not a fountain pen, but a beautiful pen nonetheless
The feel and weight of this pen is really nice. Note, this is not a fountain pen. It is a fiber tip pen that looks like a fountain pen. It isn't cheap, and the refills are a little pricey, but it is a beautiful pen and it writes well. In my experience the ink for this pen dries faster than fountain pen inks, so it is a nice pen for lefties.

Very nice product as I knew Parker before and still
Very nice product as I knew Parker before and still, they are a creator. They design luxury pens charming for eyes and the importing thing it writes smoothly easily. This pen forces me to write without boring. I LOVE Parker

Not for purists, perhaps, but...
...I have of these as well as several Parker Duofolds and I really like the 5ths. I am not sure if Parker is still making these, and refills are a little harder to find than they were 10 years ago. Reviews from hardcore fountain pen addicts are unkind to the Parker 5th; it is, after all, a felt tip with a fountain pen-looking nib and this alone seems to infuriate some folks. But, it is a pleasure to write with, very easy to refill and is a very well-balanced and attractive writing instrument. It is also hundreds of dollars less costly than most of the Duofolds.

Great pen
I really like this pen. Writes very smoothly without being a fountain pen, so it doesn’t need the care of a fountain pen. Definitely different from the average pen. Would be a good gift for a person who has a passion for nice pens.

It's okay but nothing special
I love fine writing instruments. I have wanted this pen for a very long time and now that I have it, I wish I would have passed. It writes okay but it's sort of like writing with a rollerball and felt tip at the same time. There is minimal skipping (like you would get with a fountain pen). It looks like a great pen but performance isn't what I thought it would be. Refills are expensive and hard to find.

nice pen but...
bought this and pretty sure the pen refill that comes with it was already used. lasted only a few hrs..update after seeing the advice of a previous user. you can refill your refill,. I used some bottled Parker ink from my fountain pens in the refill and it flowed effectively again .

New experience.
It writes nice despite it is not exactly like fountain pen - one can not change line width noticeably by strong or light pressing. The number of refill colors is poor compared with pen ink colors available fro various manufacturers. At the same time the 5th type refill price is 2 times higher than Parker ball point refill. But this pen is not like ballpoint or roller for sure. New experience for me. Worth trying. Chances are It finds addicts. As to me, well, I am an old men and I prefer old good fountain pen with M or F size gold nib. My current choices from relatively non-expensive pens are Pelikan M400 or, less expensive, Diplomat Excellence A+ series with F 14K gold nib and brown ink.

Bad buy
not a very good write with the fine refill. It gets blunt too quickly.

The item looks lovely as it’s a Gift for someone I won’t know their response until the middle of June. I choose it as it looks exactly something they would like and enjoy. I think it’s a lovely pen.

Unlike fountain pens, ballpoint pens and RollerBall pens, this one feels very smooth.

Das ist jetzt mein 2. Ingenuity Stift. Ich finde, ob M-Mine oder F-Mine beide schreiben wunderbar

If you're looking for a good pen, but can't quite face looking at the Mont Blanc catalogue then this could be for you. The pen itself is big and heavy weight, you feel like you have a proper piece of writing equipment. It definitely feels valuable. Word of warning, if you have small hands then this is not for you. It writes extremely well. The nib is almost a gel feel in its contact, very smooth and effortless. It uses single price cartridges, the tip of the pen looks like a fountain but this is just for effect. It comes in a very nice presentation box. Yes it's cardboard but it's not cheap and nasty. Easy to gift or just buy for yourself. Lastly, it doesn't look like a Parker. It looks like a top quality pen, I've had it out in Court, for signing important documents, or just scribbling around the house. Everything it adapts and looks great. No issues recommending, even at the price charged.
