I suffer from rosacea and bought this after a friend told me it cleared up her daughter's eczema which she'd suffered from for 20+yrs since birth. My rosacea not only affects the skin on my face, but also gives me itchy eyes and dry lips. After a few days of drinking a dessertspoon of this oil twice a day, my rosacea has improved unbelievably! I am no longer getting daily breakouts on my face, the facial redness had reduced, my eyes aren't as itchy and the skin on my lips is no longer dry (I also use hypromellose drops daily for my eyes, Vaseline for my lips and Kalme products from SkinShop for my face). My skin seems plumper and has more of a glow since drinking Udos Choice Ultimate Oil Blend. The taste is not great, but then again it's not absolutely vile either - I've heard some people drink it in a glass of orange juice, but I just drink it neat from the dessertspoon, gulp it down in one go and man up! ;) I will keep buying this great product :)

I first heard about Udo's Choice Oil mixture from Tony Robbins at his UPW London conference this year when he spend an entire day talking about how to obtain high energy through your nutrition. He recommend, besides a few very important tips, that this oil has some ingredients that our body really need but we cannot take from our daily food. Udo's 3-6-9 Blend contains the ideal ratio of unrefined omega fatty acids ( 3 and 6 ). It contains the following organic, and cold pressed oils: flax seed oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, rice bran oil, soy lecithin, oat germ and oat bran oil. The mixture has a wonderful nutty and buttery flavour. You can use it on any type of food or simply as a dietary supplement, as every cell and tissue, gland and organ in the human body depends upon the presence of essential fatty acids, which are necessary for cell growth and division. Unfortunately they are often absent from our modern diets and replaced by other horrible types of fat and oil. The oil lasts about 2 months and as I bought a large bottle, I froze half of it. You should not heat it or use it during cooking and baking, but only after the cooking process is finished. They suggest 1 tbs / day and increase to 1 tbs per 50 lbs body weight. The following wonderful salad dressing is from the newsletter made from Udo's 3-6-9 Blend: * 1/3 balsamic vinegar * 1/3 apple cider vinegar * the remaining 1/3 , in equal parts, extra virgin olive oil and Udo's Choice Oil mixture * add 1-2 teaspoon organic maple syrup * season with a bit of onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper and mix well. This is a delicious salad dressing a beats the commercial unhealthy types which are full of chemicals and sugar.

Good quality excellent product VFM and worth every penny for tissue protection

I buy these as fish oil repeats on me plus I much prefer Vegetarian Variety as a preference. I haven’t experienced an upset stomach and I’ve been taking these for a couple of months now! A definite thumbs up from me!

Excellently produced oil which I use in soups and salad dressings. Within three days skin and nails showing healthy signs of its use but its reported health benefits go deeper than these outwards observations.. Also, I recently recommended this oil to a 90yr old with long term leg skin flaking and potential ulceration. Within just a few weeks he tells me there is huge improvement where other products topically applied had failed. Used routinely at a about a desert spoonful a day this makes a visible difference for me and I feel better. It's expensive but it lasts a long while. Must be kept in the fridge. I started to use this product after reading Udo's book 'Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill' - which was a real eye opener. If skeptical, I suggest you start there. It is written for the layman but has one chapter where if, as a non scientist (me) you work hard, even the science makes sense. For those who think the taste is 'disgusting' then either it is rancid (must be transported by carriers in cold store and kept in your fridge or frozen) or perhaps you have taken it directly on a spoon and don't tolerate it well. Fresh, it is not fragrant or sweet but neither is it obnoxious. From the spoon can be too much for some. I put a dessertspoon in a bowl of home-made soup and I make a vinaigrette in a 600g glass jar with mustard, honey, tarragon leaves and vinegar. Whisk in half virgin olive oil and half Udo oil and keep in the fridge. Last for ages for salads and avocados. I have also stirred some into homemade hummus.

Great for vegetarians

L'olio è arrivato ben confezionato. Nella scatola c'è la bottiglia, in un vetro molto opaco, ambrato (come dovrebbe essere) per proteggere dalla luce diretta il delicato olio. Al momento lo sto usando con mia moglie, e lo usiamo per condire il cibo che tradizionalmente mangiamo. Devo dire un ottimo acquisto.
