Just plug them in & let them go! **Q: Is this the 240 or 110 version?** A: This is the 110V version **Q: How does this seperate heads, hearts, and tails?** A: You would need to make a call when Heads stops and Hearts begin. Don't worry about the Foreshot, that just leads into the Heads and that's where you have to smell & taste. When the Hearts are done you should be getting towards 20-30 ABV. You would have to make a call here and stop the run.. **Q: is this appropriate for grape pomace to make grappa? (which is very dry) or does this require the input to be a liquid?** A: Yes, it only works with liquids. You would need to ferment the grape pomace and strain out the fruit so that it is just a liquid. Fruit chunks should never be placed in the device. The output will be very high alcohol, almost without flavor.
