The coco coir fluffed up nicely after hydrating and broke apart easily. It has a clean, earthy feel and makes a great base. Once I blended in perlite and vermiculite, the texture was exactly what I was going for. Light, airy, and easy to work with. The perlite adds drainage and keeps the mix from compacting, while the vermiculite helps hold just enough moisture so the trays do not dry out too quickly. When you grab a handful, it holds together slightly but falls apart easily. That is perfect for delicate seedlings that need airflow around their roots. I filled multiple seed trays with this mix and it distributes evenly without clumping. It feels balanced and professional grade, but made at home. I purchased this vermiculite to help cultivate Clivia bulbs, which are a rare find in my area. After a lot of research, I learned vermiculite was essential for proper growth, and this product did not disappoint. It’s high quality, clean, and truly organic. The texture is perfect for moisture retention, and it helped me successfully start my seeds and bulbs. Very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend it.

Appears to be fairly pure, no stones or sticks found. But it’s very fine. I ordered the 2-4 mm but it is pretty much all 2 mm. Nothing coarser. It’s perfectly serviceable but if I had known it was all going to be so fine I would have ordered a coarser grade. Otherwise as described in the listing.

This was a great buy for the price. The quantity is very generous, and it ended up being larger than I expected. The vermiculite looks clean and consistent, with a nice texture that’s easy to work with. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and works well for mixing into soil or other gardening uses. Moisture retention is great for substrate mixes very sturdy light weight product Overall, really good value for the money. I’d definitely pick this up again.

Worth it for the price! I’ll probably be getting more since this is the best quality I’ve seen. The dust is surprisingly minimal, especially if you pour it gently.
