I had an existing pit made from Home Depot/Lowe's wall block. Dropped in the assembled pan, cut one wall block for the included igniter and control. I added a 10 ft extension hose to reach a hidden propane tank. Worked the first and every time we've used it. Great for smores with the grand children.

This fire kit is priced high. I searched for a comparable one, but I couldn’t find one. Order this one and it was very well made. The only issue I had was the plastic threads on the igniter. It will not get as tight as I would like. Other that, I would have preferred a knob instead of a key to adjust flame.

Product works great so far! I am taking a star away for the lack of critical directions that were not provided in the instruction booklet. i.e. a AAA battery is required and fits inside the ignition button. Alternate ways to light the pan if the battery isn’t working. The key will not turn until the battery is loaded into the ignition switch. I had to watch several videos online not related to this brand in order to figure all of this out. It would have saved me a lot of time and peace of mind that I didn’t have a defective product if these tidbits alone were provided. I’m sure there are more but these things should definitely be included in the instructions manual. Other than that product is working great and was easy to assemble.

We built the block structure and then used the 31" Stanbroil kit. It contained everything but the propane tank. The igniter could be a little more effective, but could be the trades up in Kula Maui, but overall it is an excellent package!

Bought a fairly expensive $800 aluminum fire table only to find it came with a rather chintzy painted steel fire bowl. After 3yrs (with being covered when not in use), the bowl disintegrated. Instead of trying to patch the holes and failure points, opted for this PERFECT solution to my problem. Literally dropped in and away I go. The original metal cover no longer fits flush (not a big deal) and I cover with a vinyl waterproof cover. This fire bowl replacement is the all in one solution that seems bomb proof.

Decided to swap this in to an outdoor fire pit instead of burning wood. Have used it a lot more as a result. Very good quality

We bought the 19" kit to replace a rusted our pan from our old pit. Assembly was easy! Fit is perfect. The open on our existing pit is 21.75". But the 19" pan tapers out and there is a 1/2 lip that fits perfectly. I have to figure out how to mount the face plate for the dials but that's a me problem, not the manufacturers. The flame is a bit weaker than I'm used to but I am very happy with this product.

I purchased this to finish off a fire pit I was making out of an old wine barrel. I have to say that it was straight forward to put together and the fittings were easy to attach. After completing the project I added the recommended amount of cut glass to finish it off. Having the push start was a no brainer so that it is easy to start and the recommended hose attachment ensures no annoying whistle noise will occur over the time you use them. These do go on sale from time to time so keep an eye out on them. All in all, I am happy with this purchase.

The description is in my opinion not clear. The unit is called a 19" drop in fire pit pan, I expect that it should fit a 19" or slightly larger hole in the table. Because the "pan" is tapered is requires a minimum of a 19.8" diameter hole. I have a table with a 19.4" diameter hole and is now stuck with the problem of enlarging the hole in the table. It should be clearly stated what hole size the pan requires. Arvid Pedersen
