The classic A.E.Waite tarot deck, reimagined for the modern era by renowned illustrator Virginijus Poshkus . With its 78 cards and instruction booklet, it is perfect for people beginning to connect with Tarot, and those more experienced readers. 'Great quality and an absolute must for any reader' -- ***** Reader review 'They give such positive readings and I can't put them down' -- ***** Reader review 'Love this bright deck. Good for learning to read what you see' -- ***** Reader review *************************************************************** This tarot deck, The Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot Deck , is a recoloured version of the renowned Original Rider Waite Tarot Deck - designed over a hundred years ago and hugely popular for decades. Its jewel-like colours highlight the traditional symbolism that readers rely on for insightful readings, and bring new energy, radiance and depth to guide you. The deck includes 78 cards and an instruction booklet with an introduction by Tarot expert Stuart R. Kaplan. Review: Beautiful, radiant deck that is keen to connect with you. - Ohh, this was an interesting experience connecting with this deck...I was so excited to receive it but my heart sank, when I saw it has been published by U.S Games. On the description of the product it clearly states โRiderโ Publisher 2017, thatโs why I went for it with this particular seller. I already have U.S Games Rider Waite Tarot and wanted to experience the quality of the product from another publisher, hence ordered a different (radiant) clone of the deck. It was too late to do anything about returning as I took the top plastic cover off the deck. Anyway, feeling a bit disappointed, I looked into first 11 cards and noticed the faces of some โpeopleโ look like they donโt know what they are doing ๐. I stopped myself and said: โWait a minute, Tarot is reflecting back to me what I am feeling right nowโ...isnโt that already communication? That realisation just blew my mind away, because after a little while, I looked at the images again and they all came to life for me, in most beautiful and cohesive way. I actually love the art! The cards feel lighter, more joyful and fresh. And I love the colours and the card stock. So I am happy with this deck...but still, the seller should correct the description of the product. I am 65% annoyed by the copyright signature on the side of each card, but many card collectors I know wonโt be happy about it at all...thatโs why Rider Publisher is an alternative to get it without the signature. Hope you find my review helpful. Review: Good quality - Such a lovely deck of cards, they're very vibrant and a lovely change the the vintage feel of the 'the orginal wider waite' tarot deck. Card stock is slightly thinner but does not bother me one bit. Good quality cards and no printing issues. Thank you

I recommend this Tarot deck, particularly for beginners
A. E. Waite in 1909 designed the first published Tarot deck that had illustration to indicate the meaning of cards, on all cards; it was illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith and published by the Rider company; this become the standard Tarot deck. As most modern Tarot decks are based on this Rider Waite Smith (RWS) deck, the RWS decks are recommended as the deck to learn on. For the same reason most Tarot books are written around these deck. The original illustrations were limited by 1909 printing technology; the Radiant version uses modern printing technology to make the illusions more life like. This deck comes with a small pamphlet that most people feel does not give enough information, so most people buy a book to go with the deck. I have added here brief examples of three Tarot books, as the two purchases canโt be separated. A Complete Guide to the Tarot by Eden Grey, first published 1970 includes a concise description and meaning of each card. The small text size and being printed on ruff paper, it is a 1970 book, puts some people off. Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis first published in 2002, is a modern book that gives clear guide to the meanings of the cards. The cards illustrated are by Robin Wood, not the original RWS cards, but are close to the RWS ones. This is probably the best introductory book on Tarot. Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack is often considered the de facto book on Tarot, but the complex, wordy, detail it goes into means it is not recommended for beginners.

Excellent Tarot cards
Read a few of the reviews on this particular Deck of Tarot, and a couple of the bad reviews in my view were unfounded. This is an excellent vibrant pack of cards good enough I have orderd more printed in Italy ๐ฎ๐น am happy with that had they been from China ๐จ๐ณ they would be making there way back to Amazon I only use cards from Spain ๐ช๐ธ italy ๐ฎ๐น or Belgium ๐ง๐ช I have had Chinese decks and they just don't give me anything I had ordered a few things that day and 4 parcels all A5 size but I could feel which parcel had the Tarot deck in them and I was not wrong a beautiful vibrant deck so easy to shuffle and I am now seeing little sighns that I have missed in the original Rider waite this is an excellent deck well made and I am well happy ๐

pretty cards - booklet descriptions arent very helpful though
I am a beginner in tarot so I was very happy with the feel of the cards and the vibrant colours however the booklet is not helpful in understanding the cards so I dont use it at all. Does take a few days of continuous use to get accustomed to the 78 deck of cards in your hands.

Product not enclosed in cellophane so box slightly damaged.
Everything good apart from the actual product box was not ceiled in cellophane which is extremely unusual as I have purchased this same product on other occasions. The problem being that the cards were forced out of the product box which meant the product box was slightly damaged and dog eared. Fortunately the cards were in good condition. Why was the product not in cellophane during manufacture?

Absolutely essential as a first deck.
Great quality and an absolute must for any reader. If you only have one deck it would have to be this one. I think trying to learn from scratch with any other deck would be very confusing. The little book is informative but in all honesty I'm not a fan of the card meanings as they are almost all dated and depressing! This isn't a problem as there are lots of websites that can help you define your own viewpoint. Ultimately I've found that once you get the basics down it's more about intuition and your own interpretation. The deck comes in it's own box which seems obvious, but I've just bought a deck by another artist which came with a book and there was no box which is annoying so I thought I'd mention it!

I use these pretty much daily now, I reccomend!
These are honestly my only deck of tarot cards and I'm perfectly satisfied with that. I read that some people wouldn't recommend this deck to beginners, but I strongly concur! It has the classic design with a genuinely good help booklet which describes the picture, gives the upright AND reversed meanings. The cards are a little stiff for shuffling but will probably soften over time. If you're looking specifically for alternative and original designs for tarot cards, I wouldn't recommend this. But if you're like me and just want a classic, easy to understand whilst also aesthetic tarot deck, this is definitely the one for you. Especially if this is your first deck.

Best Rider Waite Smith deck version
This is my favourite deck to work with. It has better card stock than the standard US Games RWS deck, smaller, slicker and easier to handle, cards with visually appealing backs and that last longer and each card is vibrantly coloured. Nothing can beat the Golden Dawn symbolism the RWS deck has - one of only two surviving, the other being Crowley's deck; however the cardboard feel, the unattractive back and the washed out cartoon images of the standard deck weren't pleasurable or engaging to use and after a short time, difficult to shuffle. They wear out too quickly due to poor quality card stock. I do have quite a few 'collectors decks' with beautiful artwork and imagery, but I don't use them for readings or meditation simply because the Rider Waite Smith is the best there is for those purposes. I highly recommend this deck. These cards are a delight to work with.

Beautiful colour. Great card stock.
I purchased this yesterday and I've already done 5 readings with it. I love them. Great card stock. And the name does not disappoint. Extremely radiant and beautiful! I did a couple on myself and some on my friends. Very accurate! I love the cards. They are not too big and not too small - perfect size for my small hands. I am going to do daily draws with them too.
