Lovely quality & good value
Bought this to put pink Himalayan salt in. We already had another of the same type for black pepper. They are excellent quality, with a good, reliable grind and adjustable settings. Perfect size and this pink version is a lovely soft pink (colour deepens from a pinkish off-white at the top to a pale pink at the bottom). Highly recommended if you're looking for a good quality salt mill.

I guess you have to pay for quality and that is what happened here. Yes it is pricey, even at below RRP, but this is a good looking, solid piece of kitchen kit.I had bought the Pepper grinder previously by mistake and couldn't live with putting Salt in it, which is what I intended to use it for in the first place, but it was so nice looking and typical Le Creuset quality that I bought the Salt one, so now have both of them on the table.Was it worth the money, well I was definitely going for both form and function, both of which are excellent, so I gues it was worth it

The quality of the grinders is fantastic. I must have owned about a dozen salt and pepper mills over the years, and there are streets ahead of anything else.Incidentally, the salt and pepper grinders are identical apart from the S and P on the top. The grinders are the same.Why only four stars if I love them so much? Well, the colour of the plastic bodies is /slightly/ different to the supposedly matching ceramic Le Creuset items (jugs, mugs, etc). It's similar, but not identical. And I'm such a fussy bugger that I think that warrants losing a star!

Avoid at all costs - bad mill mechanism
Looks are stellar. But that is about it. It does not work, worse than unbranded pepper mills out there. Spending 2k for a malfunctioning contraption is equal to getting scammed. SO avoid at all costs.
