OXO SteeL Leakproof Expanding Wine Stopper (2 Pack)

These are the best wine stoppers I have found. Besides sticking the cork back in the bottle, I have never had any other stoppers that work as well. The type that just stick into the bottle never work that well, or are secure enough. And those typical ones with the lever you push down to seal them, either don't fit some bottles, or worse, are always breaking and don't last long. These are solid, well thought out, and do a fine job in sealing the bottles. And compared to others, I can lay the bottle sideways if needed, and no leakage. They have held up very well. Frankly, I can't say that I have ever had any OXO product that didn't work nicely, was well designed, and just works.

We've probably been through 5or 6 different wine bottle stoppers and never found one that worked and that we liked - until this one. We usually share a bottle of wine and it lasts two or three nights so this stopper gets plenty of use. It fits perfectly, seals well, has a low profile and is easy to work with my older hands. We've never noticed any change of flavor on the second or third night. It seems well made, but if it ever wears out I'd definitely buy it again.

Easy to use, easy to clean, and looks very attractive. I have the jigger also which is the absolute best design I have ever seen.

These work very well. They definitely seal the bottle. They are easy to put in and they are easy to take out. The big advantage over other stoppers we have is it doesn’t add much height to the bottle so bottles are much easier to keep in the refrigerator. The other type of stopper we used to use had a clever little clamp but over time those broke. This is a simpler mechanism. I’ve run these through the dishwasher quite a few times with no rust and they don’t get water inside them like some products will. We’ve used a lot of gadgets. We are picky. This is definitely a very good choice.

They work like they should and look a lot nicer than plastic wrap tied around a wine bottle with a rubber band. Some bottles tend to seal tighter than others, and I don't know if that's the bottles or the stoppers. I did have a bottle leak through one of these when I laid it down. The bottle was about 2/3rds full and I only lost a teaspoon or so of wine over about 12 hours. I'd still recommend these, but I think that storing the bottle vertically is still the safest option.

Great product. Leakproof seal on every bottle so far. It has a lower profile than a bottle resealed with the cord, so it fits in more places in my fridge.

These work great in place of the cork. Easy to insert and easy to pull out. Have held up well. Good value for the money.

These are leakproof and have the advantage of an extremely low profile, enabling the height of the bottle to fit in more places than any other stopper I’ve seen. I’ve had these a few years, and though they must wear out at some point, haven’t had one fail yet.
