Not functioning gyro
Update(23-05-08): I was contacted by the seller as soon as they were able to (they were away on holidays). I was provided with a full refund and advised to re-order a new item. I would recommend this seller from now on and will be purchasing again. Fingers crossed the new set will have functional gyro. As previously stated, I updated my rating to 5 stars.I ordered a set of electromagnetic joystick. They were installed a couple of days after receiving them. The instructions provided along with Youtube videos were followed, same for the soldering method (temperature and technique). Upon calibrating the thumb sticks, I noticed the gyro were not functional on both sticks. I attempted to calibrate the gyro with no luck. Unfortunately, I can't really return the items since I already soldered onto them. Yes they were the right model for my deck.Other than the gyro issue, they move great and freely. I can only rate on the thumb stick input (not including the gyro), it just sucks that the gyro is non-functional on both sticks. I contacted the company but again, no answer or reply from them.If the gyro were functional, I could see these being a solid choice for replacement.Installation took about 15 minutes, and that was once the deck is opened and ready to go (including the soldering).

Better than original steamdeck sticks
be aware that you'll need a soldering iron, so that you can wire the capacitive touch for the thumb sticks. I've yet to find steamdeck games to take advantage of capacitive touch, so technically you can skip the soldering.Bought this for the peace of mind that hall effect sticks wont drift or die on me. Not sure why Valve or any gaming company refuse to go with hall effect for their control system. But I'm happy we have this upgrade option

Works great, Steamdeck has software issues sometimes, reboot recommended
Originally I believed the L3 button to be broken, however after working to check my soldering work everything appeared to be in order. After one more setup and calibration with the Steamdeck the software bug appears to have been resolved. The joysticks are great, I was able to easily cut the dead zone to 1/4 of the original and they feel fantastic.

Work as intended
I would recommend purchasing these older ones instead getting the new updated models that will support all versions of the steam deck and include thumbsticks pre-installed
