It’s changed the way I read for ever
Kindle has revolutionized my reading experience in remarkable ways. Its incredible features have not only made reading more enjoyable but also significantly enhanced my reading efficiency. One of the most striking aspects is how it aids in faster reading. With the ability to adjust font sizes and styles, I can customize the text to my preference, which allows me to breeze through books at my own pace. Moreover, Kindle’s e-ink display is gentle on the eyes, making long reading sessions comfortable and reducing eye strain. This feature has been particularly beneficial during late-night reading marathons. Perhaps the most impressive aspect is the exceptional battery life. It seems to last forever on a single charge, ensuring that I don’t have to worry about running out of power in the middle of an engrossing novel. In summary, Kindle has not only changed the way I read but has also made it more convenient and enjoyable. Its customizability, eye-friendly display, and long-lasting battery have made it an indispensable companion for any avid reader.

Rekindled (haha!) my desire to read!
I'm in love with the Kindle. I had the first one when it came out with the keyboard and I've had another one since then, but things have really moved on since then. The screen on this thing is amazing and the backlight is fantastic and so worth it. Everything just works and with Kindle Unlimited and all the other reading programs on the Kindle, you can be sure you'll find something to read within a few minutes and that you'll spend hours afterwards consuming it. I'm usually a TV guy, but I'm loving reading Freud from the source and not Wikipedia articles and bad psych websites. I really think you should get the Paperwhite version, but I'm not sold on needing more than 8GB of memory unless you're storing a hundred audiobooks. Formatted capacity is about 5GB, and that's thousands of books or 500 average audiobooks, so I don't think you're really going to miss out on much by sticking with 8GB. I hope you enjoy your new Kindle!

Got me to start reading again and actual enjoy it
I had wanted to get a e-reader for a while now. For one reason or a bunch more I just kept putting it off. That was until the price dropped and I felt like there was not reason not to at least try it and return it if I didn't like it. I had it linked to my account so when I unboxed the device was all ready to go. I mainly wanted to try an e-reader because reading on my iPad was hard for me. Knowing that with a few clicks I could be watching a video or playing a lame mobile game was always too tempting to resist. So knowing that the Kindle can only read books, comics and other material. The most high tech thing that it can do is play audiobooks. I like that a lot. The size of this kindle is just right for me. I can see if you older maybe you might need a bigger screen, but you could easily just change the font size. I love that you can set up a night mode that auto changes at a set time to make reading at night easy on your eyes. Reading in direct sunlight is also great because of the glare free screen. The dark mode is also a great feature that I have yet to turn off. USB C is a great choice and I'm glad that within a year or two all my devices (for now) will all be able to use the same charger. The only thing that bugs me is that the screen is a little weird at times, turning back instead of forward or turning 2 or 3 pages instead of 1. Some of the time that might have been my fault, but others if feels like it can't be avoided. But this only happens maybe once every 2 hours of reading if at all. So not a huge problem, but something to be aware of. I bought this version of the kindle with the purpose of reading on a boat this summer. The screen and the waterproof rating of this version made it a clear choice. 16 GB might have been overkill realizing how small most files are, but I wanted to be safe just in case I wanted to put some larger audiobooks on while laying in the sun. I do like that I will be able to download and have my whole kindle library with my at all times. I have been reading everyday since I got it. I love that you can see the percentage you have left and about how many hours it will take to finish. The battery has final dipped below 20 percent after about an hour to two a day and its been two weeks. The best part was that it wasn't fully charged when I got it. So a three week long battery life might be really true (maybe not ten weeks, but I could see a month a half easy) Overall I can't recommend it enough. I would wait for a sale or maybe get it with ads. While I like that the book I'm reading is on the lock screen, once you put a case on it, you rarely see the lock screen. So I can maybe see an upgrade years down the line where I might consider getting one with ads. Regardless, this Kindle has made me want to read more and made it easier to read more. And while the Kindle it self costs way more that a new release hardcover, the price of e-books through Amazon can be crazy low. So take a chance and get the Kindle (on sale of course)

I read more!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like reading from an e reader. I have been against it. But I have found I read more with this kindle. I can take it with me easier as it is smaller than most books. The lighting options makes it so I can read without disturbing my sleeping husband as I don't need to have the light on in the bedroom. The battery lasts so long. I keep trying to figure out how many days it lasts but then I end up not being able to remember when I least charged it. It really is a great device.

Sunshine Friendly
I love my new Paperwhite! I've had it for almost 6 months now, and I'm very happy with my purchase. I wanted a new Kindle to read by or in the swimming pool this summer. The paperwhite was the perfect solution for me. I can easily see the words on the screen (even in the very bright sunlight), and I haven't had any issues with the water bothering it. I haven't ever dropped it in the pool or gotten it really wet though. However, I do touch it with wet fingers to turn the page. I did buy a case and screen protector for my Paperwhite to make it a bit easier to hold onto, and to keep the direct sun off of it when I wasn't using it. The battery life is spectacular too! I use it for hours at a time, and don't have to charge it very often. When I do charge it, it charges very quickly. I can adjust the font size and the pages turn very quickly. I don't notice a large lag when I touch the screen to turn the page. The size is great too. It fits really well in my hands and it's not too heavy to hold for hours.
