It is an entry level option that provides excellent safety to the new user that does not have a lot of set up and moving parts to learn while they are learning the saw. The GR-100 is more adjustable and can help with more intricate and difficult cuts than the GR-2GO, so as the user expands their woodworking abilities, they can step up to the GR-100 or GR-200 when needed. The GRR-RIPPER 2GO is also popular with contractors on the jobsite who do not need the full capability of the GR-100, but still want the GRR-RIPPER safety they use in their shop. Finally, GRR-RIPPER GR-100 and GR-200 owners are buying the GR-2GO as well! The minimum rip width is truly encouraging because I'd experienced a painful, but funny kickback lesson early on in my woodworking journey. I feel comfortable letting my kids work on the saw with this block. It has opened up a new dimension to our projects. The price is acceptable because there are several competing designs, but are lacking the qualities that make the MICROJIG tool superior. My only regret is not getting a second block for long pieces of wood.
