Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range S2 USB Stick ZST39 LR, Great for DIY Smart Home (Use with Home Assistant or HomeSeer Software)

Reliable, easy to set up with HomeAssistant and Z-Wave.JS, adopts anything I’ve tried. Honeywell T6 Pro Thermostat and a few Z-Wave plugs all connected without hassle. Range is pretty good as well. Not too expensive considering you aren’t locked into a particular ecosystem with this device.

Chose to go with Z-Wave for my home automation, price was right on this to get my feet wet and try it out. It's been rock solid and one less thing to worry about on the WiFi. Has good range in our 1400 sq ft, especially considering it's behind the computer, against a wall. One day I'll upgrade to something with better range so I can hit outdoor equipment.

I plugged this straight into my Mac Mini and it was recognized instantly without driver, just pure plug-and-play. Home Assistant (Virtualbox) picked it up via Z-Wave JS without a hitch. My house is two stories with a decent-sized backyard, and this single stick handles everything. Even my furthest outdoor sensors stay connected with zero latency.

I've recently decided to smarten up my dumb home. In my research it appears that Z-Wave is more secure for security related devices when running my Home Assistant. So I purchased this antenna to help connect my security based devices. The antenna was very easy to setup. The range and power are fantastic. It's far superior to my zigbee range, and the signal is very stable. The connection and setup were both very easy as well. However, the amount of end points I can attach is a little lacking so I am using both protocols.

It does what the product discription said would do, I plugged it in and it worked straight away with no problems. The range is incredible, I will certainly be buying more of these and other Zooz products!

Connects my smart home just fine. Small profile. Quick. Easy install and connection to proxmox and Home Assistant on a beelink miniPC.

Nothing wrong with it, and it's stable for a small apartment or tiny home Zwave network. However, if you have a larger home and want to actually use LR devices (say you don't have power 150 ft away to put a repeater...) then a larger ZWA antenna might be better. That said, this thing never dropped a connection, it just struggled with long range.

I'm using this for my home automation via Home-Assistant. I migrated from a SmartThings setup & am VERY pleased with the change. Installing was as simple as plugging it in & enabling, no special drivers or firmware updates were required. Using this device to unpair Zwave devices from SmartThings was a breeze, & everything paired quickly/easily with my new Home-Assistant server. Range is outstanding! I have this Zooz USB connected to my Home-Assistant server tucked in an out of the way closet at a far corner of my home. Even so, I've experienced zero issues or delays controlling devices at the opposite corner corners of my somewhat large home. It's also worth noting that I live in a densely populated neighborhood, with lots of tech savvy neighbors making the RF spectrum quite noisy... and still I have no connection/control issues. I am very pleased with both this device & with Home-Assistant. I'd recommend this change to any current SmartThings user!

Works as intended with Home Assistant. The range and reliability is a lot better than my old aeotec gen 5. Had some trouble migrating from my existing z-wave controller but it was more down to my skill level and the lack of support from the old controller. The zooz worked without a hitch throughout the whole process. I imagine the process would've been flawless if I had remade the z-wave network from scratch or started a new one. I use home assistant HAOS and zwave js ui add on.

It's PLUG N' PLAY with Home Assistant. No drivers needed. Super easy to setup to! Bought it to connect my RING security keypad. SOLID as a ROCK!
