I had new carpets being put down and didn't have gripper rods for one room. These arrived quickly and were easy to install. You do need a decent hammer as these have thicker nails. I was told by the carpet fitter to use a small piece of the rod and use the edge as a guide as to how far away it should be from your skirting/ wall.

Fits quickly

Havent fitted these yet - they arrived very quickly, much faster than the vendor suggested. But that is good. The quality seems ok - comparable with grippers I have purchased from DIY stores in the past - but only time will tell, when I fit them. Unfortunately, the grippers are only half the length of the advertised size [Length: 5ft / 1.5metres per stick]. Instead they are only about 0.75m long. BUT, you do get the overall length that you ordered so at least you can do the job. I'll look on the bright side - the package is easier to transport and the left-over pieces will be easier to store. Shame the vendor cant market the dimensions correctly - Im convinced that longer lengths are easier to align and fit than lots of shorter lengths.

length only 2ft 6" each and last few inches have sparse teeth - same all. I cut a few inches off each!!
