I purchased these as a potty training treat for my son who is allergic to multiple foods. Finding candy that is free of all of them is very difficult. I was super excited when I found these. Even though they are expensive I thought it would be worth it. He had a few and seemed to really enjoy them. Then he got a rash on his face and I couldn't figure out why. I went to the only new thing he has been eating and was appalled to find the warning shown in the picture which states these are manufactured on shared equipment with peanut. My son is extremely allergic to peanuts. This should be listed in the product description along side the ingredients. My son could have ended up in the ER because of this. I was attracted to them because I'm allergic to the commercial red dyes, along with some of the other ingredients that often end up in candies like these (like animal-based gelatin, as it happens), and then when I saw their deep red, almost purple color, I knew these were definitely different from the standard bear.
