I was definitely expecting the battery life to be poor. Generating heat is pretty energy intensive, and the battery pack included is small. The battery pack can be charged with micro usb or usb-c, but the included cable is micro usb, which kind of tips me off that it's pretty old and technology is somewhat outdated. But again, I was expecting that. I chose this particular one because the battery was external and I can very easily swap it out so that I still have a working product, and in that respect I got what I wanted and am pleased. My biggest knock on it is that the back side of the heating panel where the power cable comes out, it is so rough and sticks out so much that a thin layer of fabric was not enough to keep it from irritating and chafing my skin. I ended up putting layers of tape over it to smooth it out. I don't understand the intended effect of the vibration, I'm just here for the heat.
