I’m just beginning to learn how to use mica powders in my bath salts. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, until I knew whether or not I would be successful with them. This package was perfect!! I was even able to mix a few colors and create custom shades, to match the ribbon on my containers. I ended up blending two shades of red, added a little pearl black, and created burgundy! I agree with some previous reviews, that it’s a bit difficult to get the powder to come out of the sides of the package, but I easily solved that problem as well; Simply put a small amount of salt into the bag, shake it up and…voila! It adheres to the salts and you just pour it out onto the salts that are on the baking sheet drying, and stir it in. Easy-peasy! If for some reason that doesn’t get all of it out of the edges, I just used a pair of scissors, cut the bag open and scraped out what’s left. This set is PERFECT for beginners and allows beginners to take a test run before purchasing the larger packages. I would definitely recommend this set to others. The price is extremely reasonable, compared to how little you need to use, to achieve the color you need. (Colors are bold and saturated) I am extremely pleased with this product!

This is the first time I ever worked with Mica Powder and UV Resin so I'm definitely not a pro but my first three pieces turned out great! I read that you're not supposed to use too much or your resin won't cure but I used too much every single time. I had to add a couple of minutes to each piece and turn them over to cure the back separately, which I don't usually have to do, but they cured perfectly. I can't believe how many colors came in this package! This will last a long, long time! GREAT value and the finish is strikingly beautiful. The blue looks like the ocean. I love this stuff!

I use these powders to color resin for knife handles and they work great. The colors are shiny and bright and have a nice metallic shine to them. They are easy to use and the assorted colors can be mixed for even more colors. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Making 'potions' with the grandkids & aside from having a blast, I was impressed with this. It doesn't take much of the powder to get the desired effect. Of course, that's all dependent on what size container you're using, but for the size we had (Dollar Tree mini craft bottles), it only took a pinch. I don't see it being too much difference when I create more using bigger bottles (16 oz or so). I see this lasting for a good while if my estimations are correct. The only bad thing I could find about this is the packaging--I had to tape up the cellophane pouch, which means that every time I get into it, I'm going to have to cut a bit off the height of the bag. A ziplock-type bag would've been very beneficial.

In love with the colors they are no different from in the pictures. Although the packages are small it holds a lot and the pigment is great. Easy to mix and color does not disappoint.

I love the colors that were in this purchase. They came in little zip lock bags which was a pain. It was difficult for me to get the powder out of the bags. I ended up purchasing those little jewelry plastic cases that screw on to each other. This works perfectly for these powders! I used my label maker to put the color name on the front of them. Worked perfectly!
