Took my time to explore the world of chisels and based on the work I am doing ie hanging doors and correcting poorly fitting kitchen cupboards, worktops etc decided that this 6 chisel + bag set was for me. Arrived early and nicely presented this Presch set of Chisels are faultless . All the chisels are true and razor Sharpe with absolutely no burrs whatsoever so no need for any extra attention at this stage. All tools are a personal choice or at least should be and I find the weight and balance to be perfect for me, they feel really comfortable in my hands. They look great too which doesn't hurt and I've no doubt they will last as its got it written all over them. As for the bag, yes it's basic but it does hold them all in place no matter how much I tried jiggling it about to make them fall out . Great value 5 stars all the way.

Great quality for a great price

Excellent quality for the price. I'm a carpenter with 40 years in the trade. I wanted a set of site chisel's to use outside of the workshop. This set of chisel's is superb, really excellent handles. Comfy to hold and the steal button on end allows you to strike with a hammer. Other reviews say they are ready to use from the box! Let me clarify, for DIY use they may be sharp enough! However let my experience guide you.. The ultimate sharp edge is two highly polished edges coming together. The chisel's have grinding marks on all edges. A little time polishing the cutting face will pay dividends. The steel is good quality and holds it's edge very well. I honestly don't believe you will buy better for the price.

Does the job perfectly

This was a really nice set inside. However the box it came in was damaged which let it down especially because it was a present . But won't affect what it's been used for.

Being a carpenter, I need a set for general use and one set for the nicer, fine detail finishing. It comes ready in a tool holder. A workable sharpness to them straight out of the box; not for hardwood work but for general timber use it will suffice without further sharpening. I keep these in my toolbag now and use them every now and then when the situation calls for them. They look nice, come in a case and do the job. These are a good set in between budget and high end. (One chisel is missing from the picture because I left it at home; you do get 6 chisels)

De juiste maten en degelijke houder zodat de beitels na gebruik niet kunnen beschadigen. Beitels waren heel scherp en direct bruikbaar zonder te beginnen slijpen. Perfect om te doen waar ik ze voor gekocht had !

Compre estos cinceles en base a opinones que lei y su precio me parecio justo. Estoy contento con el resultado, su filo de fabrica es excelente y aun luego de bastante uso continuan con su filo original. Recomiendo estos cinceles y los volveria a elegir .

Ich habe mir die Stechbeitel von Presch für die Renovierung einer alten Treppe geholt und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Klingen sind scharf, stabil und lassen sich präzise führen. Damit geht die Arbeit deutlich leichter von der Hand. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Kundenservice: Einer der Griffe war leicht schräg, also habe ich den Support kontaktiert. Das Problem wurde sofort und unkompliziert behoben – wirklich vorbildlich! Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Set mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und tollem Kundenservice.
