Simple to set up, as it is easy to understand the settings. Very pleased . I have it set up for 30 minutes, and it delivers 165litres in this time (my water pressure is 1.5 bar, and it might vary depending on your pressure). I have had no errors or faults. The housing seems durable. I hope this review helps you with your decision.

A quiet timer that has now been in use for a few weeks without a problem. During installation I did have to remove the conical shaped filter from the water inlet port to ensure the fitting was watertight There may be a different fitting available that will allow the filter to be retained and remain watertight. Easy th o programme like many similar timers.

Bought an Orbit timer 3 years ago, but then with just a two year warranty. Worked perfectly until this Spring when only manual operation available, BUT out of warranty, so sent off for their latest equivalent - or so I thought. Setting it up I realised it will only allow one start time (not the four as before) but decided to opt for the every six hours option (although I prefer to water at night for one minute at a time). When I tried fixing it in place the screw fixings are no longer compatible with my connectors, and no adaptors supplied! So sending it back - not yet decided which alternative to go for.

It’s exactly as advertised. It’s a timer for watering the garden.

This might be a very good product (I haven't managed to get it connected as yet), but UK buyers should be aware that all the hose connections are 3/4" GHT, which is an American standard for outdoor use (Garden Hose Thread). Although it looks similar to 3/4" BSP and even 3/4" NPT, the threads are not compatible and will bind after a couple of turns and likely leak too. If you want a leak-proof connection you will need to fit adaptors. I have not been able to find a BSP to GHT adaptor, and have had to fit two adaptors on the inlet connection: BSP->NPT and then NPT->GHT. For the outlets I've used GHT->NPT adaptors and then fitted a pressure reducer on each one which has an NPT inlet thread and a hose tail outlet. Needless to say this adds quite a bit of expense (and weight) to the installation so the garden tap needs to be securely mounted!

not as good as my old orbit they changed the thread size on the outlet end and my fittings do not fit dissapointing.

Very poor that this product should be available at all in UK/EU since the tap thread has been changed and now only fits USA taps. It therefore gushes water and is totally unasable. Waste of time and money. It is written there in small print on the right but that really is not acceptable.
