Handy little diagnostic tool
👍 Pros: Works fast for testing HT supply to a spark plug. Sturdy and simple — no settings to fiddle with. Great for DIYers doing engine diagnostics. 👎 Cons: Only shows presence of spark, not strength or timing. The short lead length might mean you need to lean over the engine more than with longer cables.

Great little time saver when troubleshooting a small engine. It answers the question as to whether or not the spark plug is getting any electric juice.

A good little gadget, it worked well on my old 1970 mini, but wouldn’t fit my Alfa as the plugs have an extender & it didn’t fit onto that

Useful and simple spark tester that gives a good clear to see spark. With hindsight, it might have been easier to check my twin cylinder motorcycle if I had bought two of them.
