Crochet Creatures of Myth and Legend: 19 Designs Easy Cute Critters to Legendary Beasts

Megan is my favourite pattern designer because each of these pieces is epically sculpted and each pattern extensively tested by a range of testers. The dragon was one of my first big pieces as a crocheter and I found her online community on fb an absolute treasure trove of knowledge and help! There are so many amazing patterns in this book it will take me years to work through them all and all their variations. A must have for any amigurumi maker! If you have a crocheter in your life this is a great gift idea! Be sure to check out her other books as well as her patterns on ravelry. Epicly detailed, lots of pictures to show you the process, and sculpting lile you won't find anywhere else.

Love the look of the book. All the designs are highly customisable, including poses and details. However, the patterns are too challenging for my personal level. Nothing against the book; just a warning for anyone at the beginning/intermediate level. The Cute Critter patterns are easier, but not as nice as the designs like the dragon on the cover

Era un tiempo de espera muy largo para que me llegase, eso normalmente me hace dudar mucho y no lo compro, pero hice una excepción con el libro y la verdad estoy muy contenta porque llego incluso unos dias antes de lo que me decía. Si sabes leer los patrones en ingles lo recomiendo. Si es verdad que el montaje viene a parte de cuando se hace el muñeco pero bueno una vez te haces lo sacas :D

I only liked three of the designs in this book(the advanced ones). Its quite annoying to find the instructions there are too many options for the dragon at once. Not the most pedagogic layout eventhough I get this is partially achieved but it could be a little better. I don't like how the text is divided between the pictures that show the process because it is easy to miss a row if only one row is written on the bottom of the page under a picture. So layout is confusing/ not professional. Also i find the booklet too big in height. Talent is definitely there though gives something you do not get elsewhere. But it could improve with a new reedited edition.

The best compilation of Megan’s fantasy critters! Love these patterns, very clear, great pictures, and great support from the Crafty Intentions community. I’ve made (and sold) a standing dragon, and her eastern dragon. They are even more beautiful in real life than in the photos!
