We Went Nuts For Donuts
We play a lot of board games and card games in our house. My children (10 and 8, respectively) tend to roll their eyes when I introduce another game to the collection but I know they love it as much as I do. It's a very simple (and TECHNOLOGY FREE) way of spending some quality time together. We love Sushi Go, Adventure Time Love Letter, Machi Koro, Forbidden Island, Zombie Dice and Ticket To Ride, to name but a few. Gamewright always make games with solid, simple mechanics that don't require the flow of gameplay to be constantly interrupted with endless referrals to the rules. Go Nuts For Donuts is no exception. The game itself is very, very simple: each player 'bids' on a lane containing the donut they want. Players who bid identically get nothing. The lanes are periodically refilled with new donuts until the supply runs out and the game is over; some cards have high point values, some cards can be used to influence gameplay. Much like Sushi Go, the trick is to collect a good mix of cards and to not get blocked by other players while doing so (as some cards rely on having the correct number of multiples to score any points at all!). There's a degree of strategy and probability involved and, with a set of adorably illustrated cards, there's plenty to keep everyone occupied for the 20 or 30 minutes it takes to play the game. Go Nuts For Donuts is a good filler or warm-up game and, if approached like that, is well worth the money. We're yet to play it with more than three players (Mum doesn't play games) so I can't comment on the gameplay with that many players. Highly recommended.

Great family game
Absolutely amazing family game to play, it gets everyone involved, doesn’t take too long to play, easy to teach the children.

Do go nuts for GONUTS for DONUTS! Great family fun!
This is another fantastic Gamewright game. We bought it having loved Rat-a-tat-cat. and have not been disappointed by gonuts for donuts either. Whilst it says that the games is suitable from 8 years, my six year old loves playing it (so long as it's not with her ultra competitive sister). My 12 year old thinks this is the best game ever. It is more fun the more players you have, so where as my six year old is happy playing it with two players, my 12 year old would rather play with as many as possible. You do need to be a bit strategic and think about the values of the cards, but it's easy to understand and you pick it up quickly.

Great game
I bought it for my 7 years old daughter and she loves it. We play it altogether as a family and it is great fun. I recommend it.

Great fun and tactical card game.
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She's mathematically minded, but also rather old fashioned and prefers Monopoly, Cluedo and Trivial Pursuit, so she didn't even want to give this a go. Luckily my wife and my other daughter were up for giving it a try and we loved it. The game is easy to pick up, quick to play and a treat for tactical players. I don't like games based entirely on chance, so Gonuts was perfect for me. One caveat: it's tempting to play aggressively sometimes and this might cause problems in groups with players who favour that style of gameplay. Constantly blocking one other player might feel like victimisation. If your group is a genial bunch, however, you can't go wrong with Gonuts. A really lovely filler card game and perfect for casual game nights.

A family favourite this Christmas
Looks complicated but isn’t really - has a good set of instructions. Once we worked out what we were doing, we really enjoyed this game. A bit of strategy and a lot of luck mean that the kids have as much chance of winning as the adults and even the board game-avoiding husband participated with ease. I like the fact that it can be played with different numbers of players, with more types of cards as the number of players increases. A hit!!

What a phenomenal game! Our daughter is almost 7 and in the first grade. Board games have become a nightly ritual for us along with reading after her little brother goes to bed. We're always looking for new ones and this has proven to be our new favorite. The best way to play is read the rules once and dive in -- it's easy to play, but there's a tremendous amount of strategy involved. I'm thrilled watching my daughter apply all sorts of strategy in her gameplay. She's outsmarted my husband and me multiple games. The donut variations are clever and colorful, so kids enjoy playing and don't feel intimidated. It's a fantastic game for all ages. I would definitely play this with adults -- with or without kids. We've taken it on trips to family gatherings and everyone we've introduced the game to has absolutely loved it. Beginners often win the first time they play it, which is part of the appeal. There's a ton of strategy involved, but there is also a lot of opportunity for anyone to do well. This is a FANTASTIC deal at less than $10. I would recommend this game even if it was $20. It's really that great of a game. I'm a fan of Gamewright games, but this is probably one of my favorites.

el arte de este juego es una delicia, la dinámica también bastante entretenido lo malo es que después de jugarlo se te antojan unas donas.

My daughter (11yrs) played this game with her friends at school & then it became a wish list item for Christmas so I am guessing it is fun for kids. We are yet to play it so when we do I can edit my review then or add another one. As for the Gamesmen, where the game was sent from. 10/10 for delivering a product the very next day & packaged well. I would definitely buy from them again if need be. Thanks Gamesmen for a high quality product delivered super efficiently!

This game is very easy to learn and is fun for all ages. I have played this game with children ranging from 7-16 and with adults alike. Games are quick, fun and offers repeat play and appeal. The game is very easy to learn for newcomers and has no learning curve. This card game is easy to pick up but hard to put down. This game can be played in tight spaces and is excellent for family game nights, road trips, and get togethers with family/friends. I don't think you can find a more engaging and fun game at this price point.
