I Can't find that info in the listing.** A: 50 micron. A micron is defined as 0.001mm, so the listed thickness of 0.05mm is exactly 50 micron. **Q: Do you have to back your artwork with poly draw?** A: You can use whatever colour card you like to enhance your artwork. Use a tiny piece of tape in the corners to hold in place and frame as normal. Artists on YouTube show you how if you search ‘drafting film background options’ **Q: I am looking for something to be able to do caligraphy on as artwork, which I can also trace through, would this take ink and is it bleedproof?** A: I haven't tried calligraphy on Polydraw myself, but I asked others in our society who have used it (mostly for coloured pencil) and got the following comments:"I have just tried my new polydraw with a graphic pen and a dip pen with Indian ink and it works fine and doesn't bleed. I used to use a safety razor blade to correct mistakes by scratching off the ink.""My wife tried it out for calligraphy... It is bleedproof, but she didn't find it to her taste particularly. She found the drafting film too smooth for calligraphy, and the ink takes a long time to dry, and apparently, it cockles, so you have to take care with it. She ended up using good quality tracing paper for the finished product.""I used it both for ink and acrylics and it worked very well, but it will cockle if you use very wet fluids such as large areas of solid ink or a wash. I would imagine that it would work well for calligraphy."I hope this helps.Another member has emailed me to say she used Rotring ink especially for drafting film. It dries quickly, and she found she could erase mistakes by gently rubbing alcohol with a cotton wool bud or using soapy water. **Q: Is this like tracing paper?
