2017 release, the ninth studio album from the Icelandic singer/songwriter. Björk began working on Utopia almost immediately after releasing Vulnicura in 2015. The first news of the album came from Björk herself during her pre-taped acceptance speech for International Female Solo Artist at the 2016 Brit Awards, held on 24 February 2016. She stated that her reason for not attending was that she was busy recording her new album. The artwork was created by Jesse Kanda. Includes "The Gate". Bjork is best known for her work as vocalist in The Sugarcubes as well as her phenomenally successful and influential solo career. Review: Utopian bliss - A stunning album from Bjork who continues her unique creative journey, this is genuinely an uplifting album and all the images and videos she has created for this album are astounding. With each album she gets better and her videos are always works of art and push new boundaries. You will love this album and for me it echos a little her album "Medulla" which you should definitely listen too. This album definitely has the feel of a lightening of spirit and mood, its quirky and very human and I think quite personal.. Its an album that unfolds each time you listen to it. Review: Bjork at her best - Incredible. Bjork. Flutes. Birdsong. Amazing

Lyrically bizarre and musically brilliant
Another fantastic album by the very talented Bjork. Lyrically bizarre and musically brilliant. As usual, completely different to her last album but brilliant just the same.

Truthiness, why does music have to be songs? ...
(Format: Vinyl 2LP) Truthiness, why does music have to be songs? They've been done to death (verse, chorus, verse, yawn). Open your mind. Music is about mood, atmosphere, emotions. This album has those in spades.
