I had high hopes for this tile cutter. I messed around with it for a few to get the hang of it and on my first longer cut (18”), it didn’t cut straight. Turns out, it’s not square. I tried loosening and then retightening the screws that hold the two arms together to no avail. I bought this to make long cuts on 4’ tile. I’m so disappointed. I’m sending it back but I’m so bummed at the time this has cost me.

The instructions for set up were just about impossible to follow. The tile blades were difficult to get seated into the cradle. Once i figured out the pliers portion, it seemed to cut well. However, that wasn't before I broke quite a few (expensive) tiles. Ended up hiring someone to tile, because I couldn't count on this. If you can figure it out and reliably get good cuts, it's a neat tool allowing for very long cuts. But I doubt you'll see the pros using this

It took me two or three tries to cut 4-ft tile with out breaking it for what it is I'll give it four to five stars

Broke 2- 55 dollar tiles with this. Sent it back.

Didn’t work well for the large 3/8” tile

$300 in broken tiles. Some tile I was able to to salvage. But I don't recommend this for long cuts
