These are the prefect size for a double shots worth of espresso beans. I usually does anywhere from 18g to 20g and the quality design of these tubes are able to hold them just fine. The rubber gasket ensure an airtight seal each time you push the tops down so I always have a fresh dose ready for me in the morning. This works well and I would highly recommend.

I can't speak to the valve that releases the bean degassing, but since its a high end brand like Normcore I'm gonna assume it works and keeps my beans fresh.Since the home espresso world is moving to single dosing, these things are essential to expedite the workflow. Weighing out the doses once for the week is much more convenient than weighing beans every morning. For me anyways.
