A refreshing, reliable favourite that suits everyone in the household
I’ve tried more soft drinks over the years than I can count, partly because everyone in my home seems to have different needs and preferences, and partly because I’m always on the lookout for something refreshing that we can all enjoy without worrying about additives or caffeine. Pepsi Max No Caffeine has quietly become the only fizzy drink we buy now. It’s one of those products you don’t expect to love quite so much, but once it settles into your routine, you realise nothing else quite measures up. I first picked this up by chance when it was on offer at the supermarket. At the time, my partner had been told to cut down on caffeine, and I was struggling to find a caffeine-free option that actually tasted like a proper cola rather than a watered-down imitation. We had tried a few others — some were far too sweet, others tasted oddly metallic, and one even left a sort of syrupy coating on the tongue that put us both off completely. So, with fairly low expectations, we grabbed a pack of Pepsi Max No Caffeine just to see if it would tide us over. Within a couple of days it became clear this was the drink we’d been searching for. The flavour is crisp and unmistakably “cola” without being overly sweet, and it somehow manages to feel both light and satisfying at the same time. My partner, who normally notices even the smallest hint of artificial sweetener, commented that this tasted far more natural than the others. For me, what really stood out was how refreshing it is even when it’s not ice-cold — that’s something very few diet colas manage. A few months later, when visitors came over (some avoiding caffeine, some simply fussy about taste), this was the drink everyone reached for first. Even my sister — who insists she can always tell the difference between regular colas and their caffeine-free or sugar-free counterparts — was surprised to find she genuinely liked it. She even asked what brand it was so she could buy some herself. That was when we realised it wasn’t just “good for a caffeine-free option,” it was just good, full stop. The 24-pack of 330ml cans is incredibly convenient for us. We keep a few in the fridge, a few in a cupboard, and somehow they always get used up faster than expected. The cans don’t have that lingering cola smell some brands do, and because they’re individual portions, there’s no worrying about a big bottle going flat after a day or two. The packaging is sturdy, easy to store, and the cans chill quickly — a small detail, but very handy in warm weather or when unexpected guests appear. It isn’t the cheapest cola you can buy, but in my experience it’s worth every penny simply because it suits everyone: those who avoid caffeine, those who avoid sugar, and those who are just picky about taste. It’s become our go-to drink for meals, movie nights, and even just something cold in the afternoon without worrying it will keep us awake later. I highly recommend Pepsi Max No Caffeine. It’s smooth, refreshing, and genuinely enjoyable — a rare find that appeals even to the fussiest drinkers. If you’re looking for a cola that delivers full flavour without caffeine or sugar, this is the one I’d suggest every time.

Great taste
Much nicer than normal Pepsi Maxx not so sweet. One of the cans had been punctured so all the cans were sticky and a mess coming out of the box. But the taste is great! And 24 cans for £8 cheap as chips.

NOSTALGIA: WHERE COMPANIES CAPTURE YOUR HEART.
Let me take you back to those golden moments that shaped us. Remember when Bohemian Rhapsody was born in my world. That magical place, that beautiful home—without it, the song would never have achieved its legendary status. This is the power of nostalgia, and it's precisely why companies work so hard to reconnect you with your happy place. Think back to the icons that defined a generation. Queen. Girl Power. Britney, Beyoncé, Pink — each one a cultural moment we can't forget. And those unforgettable videos from 1992's "Just One Look" and 1989's "Simply Irresistible"—the ones that made us feel alive. You remember that energy, don't you? And then there's Pepsi. For many of us, Pepsi wasn't just a drink; it was woven into our memories. for countless people, it became synonymous with the good times. Your happy place? That's where Pepsi lives. But as we've grown, our choices have evolved. Perhaps you prefer Max—no caffeine, no sugar—making it easier to enjoy without compromise. Or maybe you're simply polite enough to drink whatever's offered. Here's what matters now: health. And that's where Pepsi Max truly delivers. After treatment, during recovery, when you need to chill—this is your answer. Intensely flavourful, remarkably refreshing, and genuinely better for you. The combination of two complementary sweeteners creates something almost impossible: the authentic taste of original Pepsi without the guilt. Pair it with lime. Enjoy it with curry. Keep it chilled, always. And at just twenty-four cans on subscription—the best deal available—you've found your modern happy place. One small tip: don't tell your friends your cupboard is full.

A week to cut the caffeine!
I once drank 5-6 Pepsi Max cans a day, I moved to the caffeine free version to help me move away from that habit. Comparing the two, they’re similar, but you don’t get the same back of your mouth “ahhhh” hit that the caffeine version gives. It’s nice, but not identical in taste. It has a good fizz, has no sugar, is ultra low calorie and has definitely helped me cut my caffeine down. It’s a great placebo, but the trick only works if you try to forget it’s caffeine free. Overall, a good purchase, and once you’ve gotten past the first week - it’s much better.
