Buy Willkommen! 2 German Intermediate course: Course Pack Bilingual by Schenke, Heiner (ISBN: 9781473601390) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Clear, practical, and remarkably engaging - I bought this a couple of years ago and it was invaluable in helping me pass the Goethe-Institut B1 (intermediate) exam. Now that Iโm preparing for the B2 (upper-intermediate), I still return to it for revision. The topics and vocabulary are well chosen and nicely presented, the grammar explanations are concise and accessible, and the exercises actually useful. Even after working through the content several times now, I continue to find it both pretty engaging and effective, a remarkable achievement for any language book. Review: intermediate level German course - I've only just started this and have got through lesson one. It seems fine to me, the usual mix of listening, writing, reading exercises with grammar drills. As with Willkommen 1 the material is presented in a lively and modern way. You don't feel as if you're reading something about Germany 10 years ago. There's lots of material about German history, geography, culture and politics. As I said in my review of Willkommen 1 I've nothing really to compare it with, but it seems very good, in my view at least.

Straightforward, clear instruction
If you want a German textbook to take you to the next stage after GCSE, then this is it. Everything is clearly explained and the exercises are useful. The only annoyance is that the accompanying CD isn't accompanying; you have to buy it separately. Books of this type in Germany come with the CD in a pouch at the back (and are no more expensive).

One of the best German Course Books.
I have tried many German course books . This one is excellent for those at an intermediate level. It is available with another help book , two CDs and a DVD. One can also download an answer book containing more helpful information. So I recommend it very much

I am using this course to teach German to adults. It is a wonderful text and is an excellent follow up to Willkommen 1. Lots of references to book 1 and good revision of vocabulary and grammar.

A good textbook for intermediate learners.
This is a follow up to Willkommen! 1, so I have recently started studying this level. As with Book 1, this is well laid out. It uses up to date texts, interviews and information about German life. Grammar points are clearly explained, and there are useful grammatical tables at the end of each unit. As an adult learner, I find this series very useful.

This is a slim but still well-done book. I'm a German A2+ learner who wishes to go further, and this is at exactly the right level. I ordered the package with the CD and DVD. Considering the package all together, it's a very good resource for taking your German skills to a higher level. I recommend you add some additional resources as well, such as some intermediate-level German stories (various offerings in Kindle or print format from Amazon and others), and/or a German language app or perhaps sign up to a German-language news source.

The product description includes the following statement: The course includes a coursebook, activity book, CD and DVD set plus online activities. No activity book, CD or DVD was in fact included. I received only a coursebook.
