Be safe not sorry
Having had a badge stolen and window smashed, I decided to get this lock. Extremely well made, easy to use and a great deterrent. Let's hope it puts other thieves off trying to steal the disabled badge again.

Could be better, small design fault leaves badge able to be removed while supposedly secure.
A bit pricey, but not the worst problem. The locking cable prevents the perspex from sliding out, due to the thickness of the perspex. The badge, on the other hand, is thin enough to be slid out from under the perspex and past the cable, it took me less than 20 seconds to remove it.If the perspex was one inch longer, with a hole to match the one in the metal, it would be a five star productMy solution was to superglue a lollipop stick to the underside of the perspex at the end where it meets the hole and this prevents the badge from being able to be manipulated past the cable.A small tack weld at the two opposite corners would be a great addition as well and this would go a long way to justifying the price. I am going to do this with electrical solder, which will be the best I can manage and it will add the security that I feel should be inbuilt.

A necessary evil
Unfortunately, these are required nowadays as blue permits are valuable on the black market. Great sturdy construction. I suppose it wouldn't deter a hardened criminal but could save an 'opportunist' smashing your side window. Used a shorter bike cable as the one supplied although good quality, was a bit too long for the small dash in my car

A bit bulky
I keep this in the boot for use in dodgy areas, to bulky for every day use. Very strong and would certainly deter thieves.

Very good , clever design
I like the product after seeing it on a news item on TV, I would like 4 extra keys for it , but our local key cutter didn't recognize the key, any ideas ?

A Necessary accessory these days
I purchased this after someone broke into my brothers car causing a lot of damage just so they could steal his blue badge. This should prevent that happening again as the cable which loops around the steering wheel is very thick and sturdy. The badge sits in a metal frame with a perspex window so the badge is still visible.

Clunky to use. The lead is too think and heavy.. The cover material is chunky! The design and materials used needs to be substituted for lighter material including the chain.I first order double ( That is for time and badge) . I found it extremely clunky and heavy.I returned it and order single unit only for the badge. This too is clunky and heavy. The chain is too thick and heavy.
